    Abstract: A bipolar endoprosthesis assembly which provides for a wide-range of motion between a bone and a socket (e.g., a femur and an acetabular socket), comprising a metal outer shell element, a ultra-high molecular weight, low-friction insert formed to fit within the shell element, and a locking ring designed to lock the assembly together with a femoral head prosthesis. The outer shell has a generally spherical shape on its outer surface to be received by a human socket such as the acetabulum. The inner surface of the outer shell is faceted to inhibit rotation of a correspondingly shaped inner insert. The insert has an outside surface shaped to mate with the inside surface of the outer shell element. The locking ring is slotted to facilitate insertion of a femoral head prosthesis. The locking ring also has dual sets of locking barbs shaped to mate with recesses on the inner surface of the outer shell element. The redundant locking mechanism of the locking ring inhibits accidental in vivo disassembly of the device yet allows for relatively easy intraoperative disassembly without specialty tools or fixtures.

The maximum pressure may be output for display on a user interface.

A first anatomical entity of the first member and a second anatomical entity of the second member are tracked using the first and second trackers to generate in the coordinate system, pre-operative kinematic data of the joint during a first movement of the joint, intra-operative kinematic data of the joint during a second movement of the joint, and post-operative kinematic data of the joint during a third movement of the joint. A surgical plan is generated for the surgical procedure of the subject based at least in part on the pre-operative kinematic data, the intra-operative kinematic data, or both, of the joint in the coordinate system.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are components of a reverse shoulder prosthesis. In an embodiment, a reverse shoulder prosthesis includes a humeral adapter tray configured to sit near a resected surface of a humerus, the humeral adapter tray comprising: a cavity; a central bore; and a distal face including a boss, the boss: (i) configured as an extension of the distal face, (ii) posteriorly offset from the central bore by at least 10 mm, and (iii) configured to engage a humeral stem; and a humeral liner comprising: a distal rim configured to sit within the cavity of the humeral adapter tray; and a concave articulating surface configured to mate with a convex articulating surface of a glenosphere. In an embodiment, the boss, in addition to being posteriorly offset, is superiorly offset from the central bore by at least 8 mm.
