    摘要: A reservoir for use with a spray gun has a body and a flexible diaphragm that define a chamber for liquid to be supplied to the spray gun. The body has an outlet opening leading to a spout connectable to the spray gun and the diaphragm deflects to reduce the volume of the chamber as liquid is withdrawn from the reservoir. The diaphragm gradually conforms to the internal surface of the body as the liquid is withdrawn to prevent pockets forming in which the liquid may be trapped so that substantially all the liquid can be dispensed. The reservoir may be supplied pre-filled with the liquid.

    摘要: A spray gun, in one embodiment, is provided with a sensor configured to monitor distance between the spray gun and a target object, and a drive responsive to the sensor, wherein the drive is configured to control a fluid valve of the spray gun based on the distance. A retrofit kit, in another embodiment, is provided with a feedback-controlled system configured to change fluid flow of a spray gun in response to one or more sensed parameters indicative of condition of a target object, a relationship between the spray gun and the target object, or a combination thereof. A spray controller, in a further embodiment, is provided with a control configured to terminate or decrease fluid flow of a spray in response to a first spray stroke away from a target object, and configured to start, continue, or increase fluid flow of the spray in response to a second spray stroke toward the target object. In yet another embodiment, a method of operation is provided for controlling fluid flow in response to feedback associated with a target object. In addition, a tangible medium is provided with instructions stored on the tangible medium, wherein the instructions comprise code configured to terminate or decrease fluid flow of a spray if the spray is not directed toward a target object, and code configured to start, continue, or increase fluid flow of the spray if the spray is directed toward the target object.

    摘要: A spray paint gun having a disposable cartridge inserted therein such that paint can flow through the cartridge in the spray gun without touching the spray gun. Since no part of the spray gun has paint touching it, there is no cleaning of the spray gun or its components. The cartridges can be easily inserted into the spray gun and easily removed such that different color paints can be used in the spray gun in quick succession without down time for cleaning. There is no use of solvents for cleaning, making the cartridge spray gun environmentally friendly. The disposable cartridges eliminate expensive time consuming cleaning. The cartridges can be breach loaded into the front portion of a spray gun and front portion containing the cartridge can quickly snapped into place and ready for use by a hinged connection to the rear portion or by other connection means.

    摘要: An innovative “helical structure” for connection of the spray equipment and the paint cup mainly comprises an internal thread connector integrally formed on top of a spray gun and a corresponding external thread connector integrally formed on the connecting section extended from bottom of a paint cup. Connection of the spray gun and the paint cup is made by screwing the external thread connector into the internal thread connector. The characteristic lies in: the multiline threads on the internal thread connector correspond to the single threads on the external thread connector, and both threads share identical thread pitches. The combination of the single thread and multiline threads grants a fast and tight connection of the spray gun and the paint cup. Besides, the single thread is automated adjustable and assures a non-deadlock connection even if it is inclined while being inserted into an open end of the double thread.
