Abstract: A pneumatic edge trimming machine has a base a center of which having a hole. A sleeve extends upwards from the base for receiving a hollow outer casing. The outer casing has a top and a lower end; and the top and lower end of the outer casing are fixed to an inner casing through a frame. A space penetrating the inner casing and outer casing is formed. The inner casing is used to be installed with a pneumatic motor. A shaft is extended from a pneumatic motor. The shaft has a tool combining portion which exposes out of the hole at the base. The inner casing has an air inlet and a control switch. The inner casing has a vent facing toward a top of the outer casing, and the top of the outer casing being connected to a predetermined space by a tube. Therefore dust can be absorbed automatically in working.

Abstract: A spindle device can prevent a drive fluid for a turbine rotor from being leaked to a gap between a fixed housing and a spindle which is rotatably supported on the housing as much as possible and hence, the spindle device can efficiently make use of the supplied drive fluid and can increase the rotational torque of the spindle. The spindle device rotatably drives the spindle using the turbine rotor. The rotation of the spindle to the housing is supported using a radial dynamic pressure bearing. Further, supply holes and receiving holes for the drive fluid for the turbine rotor are formed such that these holes penetrate the radial dynamic pressure bearing in the radial direction.

Abstract: A hydraulic circuit (10) is disclosed for use in controlling a horizontal boring machine which requires hydraulic fluid under pressure for rotating a drill bit or backreamer through a rotation circuit and hydraulic fluid under pressure for thrusting the drill bit or backreamer within the bore hole through a thrust circuit. Pressures from both the thrust circuit and control circuit are combined through restrictors in a mixing zone or area (26). The control port of a diversion valve (32) is connected to mixing zone (26). When the combined pressure in the mixing zone exceeds the adjustable spring bias on the diversion valve, the diversion valve will open, diverting fluid from the thrust circuit to a low pressure zone. This will cause a reduction in the pressure in the rotation circuit as well. The reduction of both pressures will reduce the combined pressure in the mixing zone (26), causing the diversion valve to close and the pressures to increase. The hydraulic circuit maintains a constant maximum output for both circuits for a given horsepower input to the boring machine and productivity is enhanced due to reduced operator fatigue.

Abstract: Machine tool having a jet turbine driving a rotatable spindle with a tool holder, said spindle is comprised in a spindle housing, said jet turbine consisting of a disc-shaped turbine rotor being closely enclosed by a turbine housing, said turbine rotor having peripherally arranged discrete recesses, each recess having a concave front actuation wall for the jet and one sidewardly arranged outlet opening which opens in the axial direction of the rotor, said housing having at least one inlet nozzle for the jet directed into the recesses and having at least one outlet opening for the spent jet medium. Known machine tools suffer under strong speed losses when the load increases or varies. This disadvantage results from a constant interference between spent air within the recesses and the working jet. Thus, the energy of the jet cannot be used with good efficiency. According to the present invention the energy of the jet can be used with better efficiency, since the inlet nozzle is directed towards the deepest section of the front concave actuation wall by impacting on this wall and since there is provided a guiding path and an additional expansion space below the jet which in combination produce a pumping effect for quickly disposing the spent jet medium. The expansion space is provided by the concave rear wall and the flat bottom of the recess. The guiding path is defined by the concave side wall together with the flat bottom and the concave rear wall.

Abstract: A vacuum-operated cutting tool and system includes a power tool that operates in response to a vacuum induced fluid-flow. The tool includes a housing having an impeller section with an outlet adapted for connection to a vacuum-inducing source and an inlet through which ambient air enters the tool. A rotatably mounted turbine-impeller is located within the impeller section of the housing and is adapted to rotate in response to the vacuum-induced fluid-flow. In the preferred embodiment, a motion converting mechanism is connected between the turbine-impeller and a drive spindle equipped with a circular saw blade. The motion converting mechanism converts the rotary output motion of the turbine-impeller to a rotary oscillating motion so that the saw blade is suited for use in cutting plaster casts. The air inlet of the housing is advantageously located in the cutting zone of the saw blade to entrain and remove debris generated during the cutting operation.
