    摘要： A machine for casting concrete panels. The machine disclosed casts hollow core concrete panels in a single casting operation utilizing a slipform technique to fill cores with core material which can be dumped from the core after curing of the concrete has been accomplished. Vibration of the slipform during casting facilitates free flow of concrete around the slipform and core material extruded from slipforms. The slipfom has a closed front portion which is tapered to a reduced cross section. The machine utilizes a casting pallet employing improved side form cleaning apparatus. The machine also includes improved finishing screeds for applying decorative three-dimensional finishes on the top surface of cast panels.

    摘要： Smooth and uniform concrete floor or roof sections of channel formation with metal reinforcement are produced by linear movement of a slip form guided by relatively stationary rails which mold the side faces of the channel sections. Skid members which follow the rails also serve to mold the top linear edges of the concrete channel sections. The proper placement of a welded reinforcing grid is achieved by a forward adjustable template and the wall thickness and internal radii of the molded channel are established by a rearward adjustable template. The cooperating templates provide a concrete hopper structure on the slip form.

    摘要： A method for forming cored concrete slab utilizing an elongated fixed mold for forming the opposite sides and bottom surface of the slab. A concrete depositing and core forming assembly moves longitudinally over the mold, the assembly including a plurality of elongated core forming mandrels and a hopper which deposits a first layer of concrete in the mold generally to the top of the mandrels. A length of metal mesh is provided having its free end attached at one end of the mold, the mesh being coiled on a reel mounted on the assembly which lays the mesh over the mandrels and the first layer, applying tension thereto, as the assembly moves toward the other end of the mold. Another hopper is mounted on the assembly which deposits a second layer of concrete over the first layer and mesh. The concrete has a slump of from 1 to 2 inches and the mesh is chosen so as to act as a concrete supporting material so as to allow removal of the mandrels at a rate faster than the concrete becomes self supporting whereby the mesh prevents collapsing of the cores. The mandrels may be rotated as they are withdrawn from the concrete and the method may also be utilized to form prestressed cored slabs.

    摘要： This device is a removable soffit edge for forming accurate, smooth, lower corners to a concrete slab or the like being extruded or slip formed on a bed. It consists of an elongated form placed on the bed and engaged within a groove on the underside of the side plates of the machine which maintains the parallel relationship of the forms as the machine passes thereover. These forms can be any desired shape and in fact can be extended to act as the sidewalls of a slab if it is desired that the side faces of the slab be accurately and smooth finished. After the slab has been formed and cured sufficiently, the slab can be lifted from the bed leaving the forms in place or, alternatively, the forms can be removed and replaced with forms having a different configuration or different spacing. The device will also permit the use of a different soffit form as either the complete form itself may be replaced or a ''''liner,'''' such as a plastic or rubber sheet, can be inserted underneath the soffit edges.
