    摘要： A machine is disclosed for securing a closure system onto a discrete pouch. The machine includes first, second and third stations. The first station is capable of advancing discrete pouches and lifting and folding a portion of a first major surface of each pouch upon itself to form a lip, and exposing an inner surface of a second major surface. The second station is capable of positioning and attaching a closure system transversely across the exposed inner surface. The closure system includes a track having first and second legs each having an outer surface. The first and second legs are joined together by an opening/closing mechanism which includes a movable member capable of being moved back and forth. The third station is located downstream from the second station and is capable of unfolding the lip and securing opposite ends of the lip to the outer surface of the second leg.

    摘要： The bag may include first and second sidewalls joined along a first side edge, a second side edge and a bottom edge. The sidewalls may be un-joined along their top edges to form an opening. When the bag is placed in a trash receptacle, the top edges may be folded over the rim of the receptacle. To assist with securing the bag to the receptacle, the bag may include an elongated elastic strap of elastic material attached by a first end to an attachment point proximate the first sidewall and by a second end to an attachment point proximate the second sidewall. The strap length and attachment point locations are selected so that, when the strap is in a relaxed state, the strap may not extend to the side edge. The strap may be stretched commensurate with the side edge when folding the top edges about the receptacle rim.

    摘要： A method of automatically manufacturing a filled packette having a closure where a film is advanced from a feed roller to a punch that produces a series of holes in the film. Individual closures are then positioned into each punched hole and ultrasonically welded into place. The film is folded and oriented vertically so that heat sealing may be used to form the side and bottom edges of individual pockets. The film is then clipped to form individual pockets and filed with the appropriate amount of desired material from a bulk feeder. The filled pockets may be sealed along the top edge to form a closed packette and die cut to form the final packette shape.

    摘要： Problems concerning adhesion strength and aging time are eliminated in plastic-bag production in which a strip sheet is bonded with an adhesive and a handle is formed from the strip sheet on an outer surface of a plastic bag. Provided is a bag-making machine in which a strip sheet (17) and a web material are disposed so as to face each other and are pressed, with a high-adhesion adhesive (21) and another adhesive (25) interposed therebetween. The strip sheet (17) is provisionally fixed to the web material with the latter adhesive (25). This web material after the provisional fixing is wound on a roll, and a plastic bag is produced after lapse of an aging time for the high-adhesion adhesive (21). In this machine, the web material is supplied from the roll, and a plastic bag is produced from the web material.
