    摘要: A flexible bladder is enclosed within a plurality of overlapping plastic sheets, with the ends of the sheets being secured in place by the weight of the flexible bladder, when filled. The preferred plastic is an extruded, twin-walled, fluted plastic based upon a polypropylene copolymer. In a alternative embodiment, a pair of hexagonal, coaxial sleeves of the preferred plastic have an internal bladder for shipping materials. With both embodiments, hot chocolate is pumped into the bladder and cooled, in situ, to stop the chocolate from cooking further. The container is shipped, and then the chocolate is heated to facilitate pumping the chocolate out of the container. The cooling and heating processes involve the use of a heat exchange pad located between the bladder and the inner sleeve.

    摘要: The invention relates to a tank-type container for the processing of wine grape must, particularly a fermentation tank for red wine must. The tank is equipped with a slowly rotating agitator having a plurality of longitudinally spaced blades disposed the full length of its shaft extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of the tank. The invention resides in at least one section, preferably an outward section, of the cross-sectional area of the agitator blades parallel to the agitator shaft being larger than the cross-sectional area which is normal to the agitator shaft. The pomace cap floating on the surface of the juice is disintegrated and punched down into the body of the juice by means of the flat wide blade sections.

    摘要: A large tank for holding a fluid substance. Sidewalls of the tank are outwardly convex, or arcuate. The upper edges of the sidewalls are unrestrained so that a relatively high degree of distortion or freedom of the walls is permitted under a fluid head in the tank. The shear flow which is developed in the tank walls acts in summation as a horizontal beam which, anchored at its opposite ends to vertical beam-columns, supports the walls and contained fluid.
