Abstract:
An adhesive label with a water-based release coating and methods for applying the water-based release coating to the adhesive label are provided. The water-based release coating is a non-silicon based formulation having a fluorochemical. The water-based release coating can be applied in a single-pass process or a double-pass process when manufacturing the adhesive label.
Abstract:
A shield strip includes an elongated central web, a plurality of printable identification plates for identifying electrical components, the plurality of identification plates being arranged on two sides of the central web in each case in succession along the central web and being connected to the central web via connecting webs, and at least two holding pins of a different shape and/or size being arranged on the central web, wherein the at least two holding pins are formed in each case for engagement in an associated mounting of a magazine of a printing device.
Abstract:
Paper is disclosed for use in making repositionable or removable adhesive labels. The adhesive can be applied in patches or discrete areas to the paper or to a layer of material that cleans rollers in the manufacturing line and/or in printers. The adhesive can be applied in single or multiple layers. The paper is light weight paper and preferably thermal paper for use in POS printers.
Abstract:
The application relates to a printable shelf talker label, a roll comprising one or more printable, die-cuttable shelf talker labels and a sheet comprising one or more printable shelf talker labels. An embodiment comprises a laser printable shelf talker label sheet comprising one or more removable shelf talker labels. The shelf talker label sheet comprises a printable face layer laminated to a support layer, and one or more die cut removable shelf talker labels. The one or more shelf talker labels comprise at least the printable face layer comprising a first information portion and a second information portion, the support layer being adhesively attached to the face layer portion corresponding to the second information portion, the support layer portion being detachably attached to the face layer portion corresponding to the first information portion, and the printable face layer comprising optically transparent, fiber based material.
Abstract:
A sheet having a supplemental label according to an embodiment includes a presentation portion having a print receptive front face and a coupling portion coupled to the presentation portion. The coupling portion is a transparent composite film made of an upper film, a repositional adhesive, a release agent, another layer of film, and an adhesive which is joined to a substrate such as paper or other print receptive media.
Abstract:
An identification mat for identifying electrical components having a plurality of identification units, wherein an identification unit has a crossbar and a plurality of identification plates integrally moulded on the crossbar. The identification units are connected to one another by means of a frame, wherein the frame is provided with a guidance device for guiding the identification mat in a printer. The identification mat allows identification units to be provided which can be labelled or printed essentially using all commercially available printing methods, particularly using a thermal transfer printing method and/or an inkjet printing method. The identification mat is produced from an amorphous plastic.
