摘要： A label web including a substrate is provided. The label web includes a first label removably affixed to a first side of the substrate. The first label is fabricated from a first material. A second label is removably affixed to the first side of the substrate adjacent to the first label in a side-by-side relationship. The second label is fabricated from a second material which differs from the first material. The first labels may be utilized to print desired information thereon and the second labels may fabricated from a transparent, protective material coating which may positioned on the first labels to discourage damage to the first labels from exposure to water or handling when the first labels are affixed to corresponding products.

摘要： The present invention relates to self-adhesive labels, label sheet assemblies, and related methods. The label sheet assembly includes a release liner assembly having a detachable portion, and a label releasably coupled to the release liner assembly and overlying the detachable portion. Weakened separation lines, a U-shaped cut, and a transverse cut define the detachable portion. The detachable portion is configured to remain coupled to the label as the label is peeled from the release liner assembly in a first direction, and the detachable portion is configured to remain part of the release liner assembly and separate from the label as the label is peeled from the release liner assembly in a second direction.

The label also includes a tab portion having an area and a back surface, and the tab portion is integrally coupled to the body portion and extending from an end of the body portion. A line of weakness divides the tab portion and the body portion, and the line of weakness is formed such that the tab portion is selectively separable from the body portion along the line of weakness. A layer of adhesive is provided on the back surface of the body portion of the label, and a majority of the back surface of the tab portion is free of adhesive. The area of the tab portion is less than the area of the body portion.

In one embodiment, the label comprises two substrates, each substrate being coated on an outer face with a thermally sensitive coating. The inner faces of the substrates are respectively coated with an adhesive and a release material. A configuration of die cuts and perforations on the two substrates is provided to allow the label to adhere to a surface such as a package and to form a sealable pouch with respect to said surface.

摘要： A high strength, flexible, foldable and printable sheet, such as a label sheet or cardstock, is provided with a line of weakness. The sheet has maximum dimensions greater than that of a box into which the sheet is to be located, and is therefore folded flat to fit into the box. The sheet is later removed, and may be printed in a laser or ink jet printer or copier. The sheet is formed to have a tensile strength of at least 4.5 or 5.0 or more kilograms, across the line of weakness, so that it will reliably feed through an office type printer or copier.

摘要： A construction for a laminated card or label is provided including a transparent film having a pressure sensitive adhesive on one surface thereof and liner stock having first and second major surfaces. The first surface has a release coating adhered to the pressure sensitive adhesive on the film. Variable information may be printed on the second surface of the liner stock within the die cut area, and the die cut card removed from the transparent film and replaced printed side down onto the adhesive surface of the film, thereby laminating the card to the film. The card is then peeled away from remainder of the construction at the die cut around the film and folded with the indicia facing outward to laminate the sides the card together. The printed surfaces of the card are direct contact with the adhesive, thus preventing tampering of the card.
