Abstract: An electric vehicle charging port includes a pair of charging pins each connected to a respective charging cable by a base. A pair of porous metallic cages surround the base of the pair of charging pins. A phase change material disposed in the pair of porous metallic cages and a vapor chamber is disposed between the base of the pair of charging pins and the pair of porous cage. The phase change material with an optional vapor chamber and high thermal conductivity (metal or graphite) foam or mesh to provide faster response of transient heat generation.

Abstract: A cooling method can be used with an electric vehicle that comprises a vehicle charging connection unit connected to an external cable connected to a charger located outside the electric vehicle, a battery configured to be charged through the vehicle charging connection unit, and a pump configured to circulate cooling water to cool the vehicle charging connection unit. The cooling method includes determining whether an amount of cooling water is insufficient and, upon determining that the amount of cooling water is insufficient, restricting a charging rate of charging power supplied through the vehicle charging connection unit.

Abstract: A charging connector includes a first electrical socket and a second electrical socket. A first sleeve and a second sleeve are provided, such that the first sleeve is concentrically coupled to the first electrical socket and the second sleeve is concentrically coupled to the second electrical socket. A manifold assembly is adapted to enclose the first and second electrical sockets and the first and second sleeves, such that the first and second sleeves and the manifold assembly create a hollow interior space there between. An inlet conduit and an outlet conduit within the manifold assembly such that inlet conduit, the interior space, and the outlet conduit together create a fluid flow path.

Abstract: A battery charging cabinet for micromobility transit vehicle batteries may include a cabinet housing, at least one drawer, a plurality of charging docks, and a plurality of battery chargers. The drawer may be configured to extend from and retract into the cabinet housing. The plurality of charging docks may be disposed in the drawer where each of the plurality of charging docks may be configured to interface with a battery for a micromobility transit vehicle. The plurality of battery chargers may be disposed in a corresponding charging dock of the drawer, where the battery charger is able to charge the battery held in the corresponding charging dock. Abstract: A charging column includes an equipment box having a control equipment and a delivery pipelines, an isolated docking box disposed outside the equipment box, a power device and a cooling pipeline. An interior of the isolated docking box is isolated from an interior of the equipment box. A first pair of joints are connected to the delivery pipelines and electrodes are electrically connected to the control equipment inside the isolated docking box. The power device is connected to the isolated docking box and the electrodes therein. The cooling pipeline connected to the isolated docking box includes a second pair of joints for engaging with the first pair of joints. Any coolant leakage and falling off objects can be retained inside the isolated docking box, thereby protecting the control equipment from damages.

The method includes: obtaining a first temperature of at least one charging apparatus that is in a first state and that is in a charging pile; obtaining a second temperature of at least one charging apparatus that is in a second state and that is in the charging pile, where the second state is a sleep state; calculating a temperature difference between the second temperature and the first temperature; determining whether the temperature difference is greater than a first threshold, where the first threshold is an upper-limit temperature of the temperature difference; and when the temperature difference is greater than the first threshold, starting a heat dissipation fan of the charging apparatus that is in the second state.
