摘要： This invention relates to a crosslinking composition comprising an organic acid and a compound having the structure of Formula I: A′-NRA—RD wherein A′, RA, and RD are defined in the specification. This invention also relates to a process for producing the crosslinking composition by reacting an amino compound containing amino groups; a mono(alkylaldehyde) and/or a poly(alkylaldehyde), and an alcohol; and adding an organic compound where said amino compound is selected from the group consisting of triazine, linear or cyclic ureas, cyanuric acid, substituted cyanuric acids, linear or cyclic amides, glycolurils, hydantoins, linear or cyclic carbamates and mixtures thereof.

The processes provide new routes for synthesizing benzoxazine from aromatic diamines or multifunctional aromatic amines that may solve the problem of insoluble products resulted from the condensation of hydroxymethylamine with amine by using aromatic diamine, phenol and formaldehyde as a raw materials.

摘要： A method of forming an article including a substrate and a cured film formed from a coil coating composition on the substrate is provided. The coil coating composition comprises a precursor to the coil coating composition and a matting agent comprising an amide-based polymer. The coil coating composition is applied to the substrate and cured to form a cured film having a first region having a first film thickness and a first gloss. The substrate is deformed to establish a second region of the cured film having a second film thickness that is less than the first film thickness and a second gloss. A coil coating system including the substrate and the cured film disposed on the substrate is also provided. The matting agent stabilizes gloss of the cured film, minimizing a difference between the first gloss and the second gloss of the cured film on a deformed substrate.

摘要： A high thermal alkali-soluble novolak binder resin, comprising the addition-condensation reaction product of a phenolic mixture with at least one aldehyde source, the feedstock of the phenolic mixture for the reaction comprising:(1) about 25 to about 40 weight percent of the phenolic mixture being a monomer selected from meta-cresol 2,5-xylenol or the combination thereof;(2) about 50 to about 70 weight percent of the phenolic mixture being para-cresol; and(3) about 3 to about 20 weight percent of the phenolic mixture being acetamidophenol; all percentages based on the weight of total phenol monomer feedstock.The invention is also directed to a positive working photoresist made from the composition.

摘要： A coating composition is disclosed which is curable under the influence of ultraviolet light and which comprises a U.V.-curable binder, a photoinitiator and as accelerator a polycyclic condensation product of formaldehyde or acetaldehyde and an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diprimary 1,2-diamine. The U.V.-curable binder is preferably an adduct containing at least one isocyanate group of (a) an acrylic or methacrylic hydroxy ester having 5 to 20 carbon atoms and (b) a polyisocyanate having 4 to 44 carbon atoms and 2 to 4 isocyanate groups.
