Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a cast aluminum alloy for making cast aluminum products, especially using high-pressure vacuum die casting operations. The cast aluminum alloy comprises, in weight percent: Ni between about 1.5 and about 6.5; Si between about 0.10 and 1.5; Mg between about 0.10 and about 3; Fe up to about 0.2; Mn up to about 0.65; Ti up to about 0.12; V up to about 0.15; Zr up to about 0.15; Mo up to about 0.15; Cr up to about 0.01; Sr up to about 0.02; and the balance being aluminum and unavoidable impurities.

Abstract: A method for the production of a cylinder head for an internal combustion engine. The production method presentes the steps of: dividing the cylinder head into a main part, where there is the flame deck making up the crown of each cylinder, and an operating part, where there are the housings of the control means of the valves; manufacturing, at first, the sole main part of the cylinder head by means of a casting process in a mould; and manufacturing, subsequently, the operating part of the cylinder head by means of additive manufacturing, which adds layer upon layer starting from the previously manufactured main part of the cylinder head.

Abstract: Provided is a steel sheet for a hot press formed member having excellent coating adhesion, and a method for manufacturing the same. A steel sheet for hot press forming is an aluminum alloy plated steel sheet, wherein an average Fe content in a plating layer may be 40 wt % or more, and a concentration gradient of a section having a Fe content of 45 wt % to 80 wt % in the plating layer may 7 wt %/μm or less of a concentration gradient at a section having an Fe content of 45% to 80% in the plating layer in a thickness direction from a surface of the plating layer according to a result of GDS analysis.

Furthermore, an average grain size of the recrystallized grains of the recrystallized structure is preferably 15 to 30 μm.

Abstract: Provided is a steel sheet for a hot press formed member having excellent painting adhesion and post-painting corrosion resistance, and a method for manufacturing the same. A steel sheet for hot press forming according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a base steel sheet and a plated layer formed on a surface of the base steel sheet, wherein the ratio of an area occupied by pores to the entire area of a surface layer portion may be 10% or more in a cross section of the surface layer portion observed when the plated layer is cut in a thickness direction thereof.

Abstract: An Al alloy sheet for a can body and a method for manufacturing the Al alloy sheet are provided. The Al sheet has a predetermined Al alloy composition, and is configured so that the solid solution Mn content thereof after hot rolling is 0.25 mass % or greater, the solid solution Fe content is 0.02 mass % or greater, and the solid solution Si content is 0.07 mass % or greater. The electrical conductivity thereof is 30.0-40.0% IACS, the tensile strength in the rolling direction of a cold-rolled sheet thereof is 280-320 MPa, the tensile strength in the rolling direction after heat treatment at 205° C. for 10 minutes is 270-310 MPa, and the difference between the tensile strength in the rolling direction and the yield stress in the rolling direction after heat treatment at 205° C. for 10 minutes is 50 MPa or less.
