Abstract:
A combined lens includes a first luminescence surface, a second luminescence surface, a first concave surface for reducing surface reflection of light from the light source and for conducting the light to the first luminescence surface, and a second concave surface 26 for reducing surface reflection of the light from the light source and for conducting the light to the second luminescence surface. This allows the same status display to be provided in a plurality of directions by one light source.
Abstract:
An illumination apparatus for illuminating an object associated with a portable handheld video game device having a port in electrical connection with at least one power source. The illumination apparatus includes a plug for plugging the apparatus into the port, a body connected to the plug, an illumination device connected to the body and adapted to be powered by the power source when the plug is plugged into the port for illuminating an object associated with the portable handheld video game device, the illumination device including a connection member, and an interchangeable illumination head removably attached to the connection member of the illumination device and adapted to be illuminated by the illumination device.

Abstract:
A lighting device includes a mount adapted to be attached to a power tool. A flexible support extends from the mount and permits the lighting device to be oriented in any desired direction. A fluorescent lamp is mounted on the flexible support opposite to the mount. An electric circuit serves to light the fluorescent lamp and includes an inverter circuit.
Abstract:
A method for providing a lithographic light source is provided that includes producing a process fluid plume. A coaxial shielding fluid is produced around the process fluid plume. A plasma is generated by providing an energy source that impinges on the process fluid plume.
Abstract:
An exterior rearview mirror assembly for use on an automotive vehicle comprises a base member having a mounting plate for fixedly securing the mirror assembly to the side of the vehicle and a base plate extending outwardly therefrom. An elongated support arm has a first end pivotally coupled to the base plate and an opposite second end supporting a concave mirror housing. The mirror housing includes a peripheral rim defining an opening for receiving a reflective glass mirror pane. The mirror pane includes a directional indicator for providing directional signalling of the intended vehicle path. The mirror assembly further includes a puddle lamp for illuminating areas adjacent to the vehicle for entry and exit and for signalling rearward of the vehicle. Finally, the mirror assembly includes a display panel operatively connected to the vehicle for displaying information indicative of the vehicles operating conditions.
Abstract:
A head lamp device includes a structure in which a discharge lamp has a discharge bulb and a reflector of a substantially hemispheric shape arranged in an upper part of a housing. A filament including a filament bulb and a reflector of a substantially hemispheric shape is arranged in a lower part of the housing. The front opening of the lamp housing is covered by a front lens. The discharge bulb can generate two to three times as much luminous flux as a conventional filament bulb. As a result, it is possible to reduce the size of the discharge bulb as compared to the filament bulb. This makes it possible to reduce the overall size of the head lamp device.
Abstract:
A lighting apparatus for use with a microphone and a sound mixing system wherein each microphone has an associated channel located in the sound mixing system. Each microphone has a lighting means that assigns a particular color to that particular microphone and each channel has the same color associated with it as the color identifying the microphone. The color coding of the microphone and the channel allow for both to be visually identified. The apparatus has an audio connector for connecting the lighting apparatus to the microphone; a light source connected to the audio connector; a holder means for holding the light source; a power conductor for providing a pathway for power to the apparatus; and a strain relief connector for preventing the power conductor from being strained when the microphone is in use. The apparatus allows the microphone to be identified visually by the color it emits.
Abstract:
A portable lighting apparatus comprises a storage case section, and a lid section connected to the storage case section such that the lid section can be opened and closed, wherein the storage case section includes a power supply, a plurality of lighting units connected to the power supply, and a photographing stage; and the lid section includes a back screen. A desk-type lighting apparatus comprises a storage desk section, and a lid section connected to the storage desk section such that the lid section can be opened and closed, wherein the storage desk section includes a power supply, a plurality of lighting units connected to the power supply, and a photographing stage; and the lid section includes a back screen.
Abstract:
A container or receptacle having luminosity for emergency or non-lighted conditions to illuminate the surfaces of such containers or receptacles in which to give them visibility in the absence of any light source. The container includes an upper lid section and a lower retaining section having an interior compartment for holding of materials, goods, products, tools, medical equipment or medicine therein. The upper lid section includes interior lid wall surfaces and exterior lid wall surfaces, and the lower retaining section includes interior retaining wall surfaces and exterior retaining wall surfaces. The interior lid wall surfaces and/or the exterior lid surfaces includes a luminescent coating thereon for providing luminosity and for affording visibility to the upper lid section in the absence of any other light source. The interior retaining wall surfaces and/or the exterior retaining wall surfaces includes a luminescent coating thereon for providing luminosity and for affording visibility to the lower retaining section in the absence of any other light source. The luminescent coating includes protective covering means for allowing an increased visibility of the luminescent coating, and for giving resistance to wear and impact of the luminescent coating on the wall surfaces of the container.
