Abstract: A liquid micrometer which includes: a liquid flow path which supplies liquid from a liquid supply device to a discharge nozzle; a flow rate sensor provided in the liquid flow path; a control valve provided in the liquid flow path between the liquid supply device and the flow rate sensor; a controller which controls the control valve such that a flow rate measured by the flow rate sensor becomes equal to a set value; a pressure sensor which measures pressure of the liquid injected from the discharge nozzle; and a calculating section which calculates the size of a work from the pressure measured by the pressure sensor in a state where the flow rate is maintained at the set value by the controller.

Abstract: An electronic utility gas meter using MEMS thermal time-of-flight flow sensor to meter gas custody transfer mass flowrate and an additional MEMS gas sensor to measure the combustion gas composition for the correlations to the acquisition of gas high heat value simultaneously is disclosed in the present invention. The meter is designed for the applications in the city utility gas consumption in compliance with the current tariff while metering the true thermal value of the delivered gases for future upgrades. Data safety, remote data communication, and other features with state-of-the-art electronics are also included in the design.

Abstract: A device for monitoring evaporation capacity of a water surface evaporator in a process includes a water surface evaporator and a rain collector, the rain collector and the water surface evaporator having a same size of orifice area, height, and contour profile of a monitoring device. One side of the water surface evaporator is connected with a first measuring well through a pipeline, and another side of the water surface evaporator is connected with a first electromagnetic flowmeter, a water supplementing electromagnetic valve and an overflow electromagnetic valve through a water pipe. The water supplementing electromagnetic valve is connected with a water supplementing barrel through a water supplementing pipe. A water collecting barrel is installed below the special rain collector. A second magnetostrictive water level meter, a starting drainage switch and a stopping drainage switch are installed in the second measuring well.

Abstract: Illustrative embodiments of a meter box and couplings, either separately or in combination, are provided. An illustrative embodiment provides a valve coupling that is disposed through a wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the valve coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the valve coupling extends interior of the meter box. An outlet coupling is disposed through the wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the outlet coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the outlet coupling extends interior of the meter box. A telescoping tube is located in the meter box, extended into and movable relative to, and in fluid communication with, at least one of the second portion of the valve coupling and/or the second portion of the outlet coupling. The telescoping tube varies a distance between the valve coupling and the outlet coupling within the meter box.

Abstract: A physical quantity measurement device includes a housing and a substrate. The substrate has a first mounting portion on which a flow rate detecting element is mounted, and a second mounting portion on which the temperature detecting element is mounted. The second mounting portion is supported by a measuring portion of the housing in a cantilever structure. A width of the second mounting portion over an entire area of a root side part is larger than a width of the second mounting portion at a position of the temperature detecting element, and increases as it approaches the root. The entire area of the first side surface and the second side surface at the root side part is composed of one flat surface extending from the position of the root toward the tip part side.
