摘要: A rotary piston internal combustion engine, especially of trochoidal construction which includes a piston that is rotatingly arranged on the eccentric of an eccentric shaft and rotates relative to the latter and to the housing; the engine further includes engine spaces provided on both sides of the piston hub which are sealed off by oil seals in the radially outward direction; oil is conducted out of the engine space containing a gear for the control of the piston rotation, through the piston into the opposite engine space and from there in the direction toward the lateral housing part; a shielding member is arranged between the hollow gear of the control gearing and the abutment surface at the piston, which projects into the engine space to provide a shielding effect against oil spraying and splashing out of the bearing of the piston onto the eccentric; a further shielding member which is provided in the other engine space, is secured at the end face of the eccentric and projects with a portion thereof that has a spacing with respect to the end face of the eccentric in the axial direction, over the bearing of the piston on the eccentric.

摘要: THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE RELATES TO AN APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING A ROTATING ELEMENT RELATIVE TO A HOUSING OF A FLUID TRANSLATING DEVICE BY PRIMARY AND SECONDARY BEARING MEANS. THE SECONDARY BEARING MEANS INCLUDES FIRST AND SECOND SLEEVES SURROUNDING THE ROTOR SUPPORTING SHAFT WITH EACH OF THE SLEEVES HAVING A PLURALITY OF OUTER RECESSES COOPERATING WITH THE HOUSING TO PRODUCE POCKETS OR CHAMBERS AND A PLURALITY OF INNER RECESSES COOPERATING WITH THE SHAFT TO PRODUCE INNER POCKETS OR CHAMBERS. EACH OUTER POCKET RECEIVES DIVERTED PRESSURED FLUID FROM THE OUTER POCKET RECEIVES DIVERTED PRESSURED FLUID FROM THE PORT WHICH IS IN OPPOSED RELATIONSHIP ON THE ROTOR OR POCKET TO DIRECT THIS FLUID INTO THE AREA BETWEEN THE SHAFT AND THE BEARING SLEEVE. THE INTERNAL SURFACE OF THE SLEEVE HAS TWO OPPOSED CIRCULAR SEGMENTS HAVING EQUAL RADII WITH THE CENTERS OF THE SEGMENTS SPACED FROM EACH OTHER WITH THE RADII BEING SUBSTANTIALLY EQUAL TO THE DIAMETER OF THE SHAFT. THE INNER POCKETS ARE DIVIDED INTO FIRST AND SECOND AXIALLY SPACED PORTIONS SO THAT ANY AXIAL MISALIGNMENT BETWEEN THE SLEEVES AND THE BEARING WILL INCREASE THE FLOW PATH BETWEEN THE BEARING AND THE SHAFT ALONG ONE EDGE OF THE SLEEVE AND DECREASE THE FLOW PATH ALONG THE OPPOSITE EDGE TO PRODUCE A PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL THEREBY AUTOMATICALLY ALIGNING THE SLEEVE AND SHAFT.

The movable bushings are urged axially toward the pumping gears to establish a sealing relation between gear side faces and bushing sealing faces to provide efficient pump operation. The distance between a first bearing center and a third bearing center is a predetermined distance, the distance between a motor center and the third bearing center is longer than the distance between the motor center and the first bearing center, and the distance between a second bearing center and the motor center is longer than the distance between the second bearing center and the third bearing center.
