    Abstract: A housing of a Roots pump is configured by joining a lower housing member and an upper housing member that are separable from each other. With the upper and lower housing members joined together, an upper accommodating portion and a lower accommodating portion form a front bearing accommodating portion and a rear bearing accommodating portion, which accommodate whole bearings, respectively.     Abstract: A pneumatic vane motor includes a stator with a cylinder, an inlet connectable to a pressure air source and an outlet connectable to an exhaust passage, a rotor journalled in the stator, and an output shaft.     Abstract: A front cover of a manual rotary pump includes a disk having a cavity eccentrically defined therein for airtightly receiving an oil seal. A through hole is defined in a bottom of the cavity to allow an input shaft of a rotor extending through the disk. The oil seal is airtightly sleeved on the input shaft for forming an airtight condition between the input shaft and the disk. The disk has at least two bores defined therein and longitudinally communicating with the cavity for operator to easily detach and replace the oil seal by using a tool extending through the at least two bores. A diameter of the through hole in the disk is slightly greater than that of the input shaft and the diameter difference between the through hole and the input shaft is ranged from 0.05 mm to 0.2 mm.

    Abstract: A rotary fluid pressure device is described as comprising a housing having fluid inlet and outlet openings and in the housing is a gerotor device having an external stator having internal teeth and a rotor within the stator having external teeth, one less in number than those on the stator. The rotor is eccentrically mounted with respect to the stator so that upon rotation of the rotor, the sealing engagement between the external and internal teeth forms expanding cells on one side of the line of eccentricity and forms contracting cells on the other side of the line. A drive shaft concentric with the rotor has a hollow end within the housing and a solid drive end outside of the housing. A wobble stick drivingly connects the rotor and the shaft and the wobble stick has a pivot point at its inner end connected by a rigid pivot pin with a central recess in the housing axially of the shaft which eliminates axial movement between the drive shaft and the rotor which would otherwise be caused by an uneven end formed by wear on the wobble stick. A manifold, fixed in the housing, provides a double balance pad diametrically opposite each of an inlet passage for conducting inlet fluid to each of the cells between the stator and rotor. Twelve shallow slots are hobbed over six angled holes conducting fluid to the expanding and contracting cells and over six radial holes leading to the balance pads, giving the required accuracy. A novel seal and thrust bearing structure, where the drive shaft exits from the housing, results in good concentricity of the seal carrier and a thrust bearing between the seal carrier and the adjacent end of the housing provides with a flow pumped by the bearing during rotation of the device, which results in a lower temperature on the seal and bearing.

    Abstract: A sealing system for oscillating-piston engines that include two oscillating pistons that revolve together in a spherical housing. The pistons perform reciprocating oscillating movements in opposite directions about an oscillation axis perpendicular to the axis of revolution for the pistons. Guide members are provided on the pistons and engage at least one guide groove formed in the housing. Sealing elements are disposed on or in the vicinity of all moving edges surrounding working chambers and prechambers for the engine. The sealing elements seal all the gap regions present between machine parts displaced relative to one another by revolving and/or oscillating movements and not in direct contact. Sealing elements prevent excessive penetration of lubricating fluid into inlet and outlet openings in the housing.
