摘要: A wireless apparatus includes a physical housing, communication circuitry provided in the physical housing, a transmission data inputter provided on the physical housing, and a transmission data generator provided in the physical housing, the transmission data generator including a proximity analyzer configured to detect whether the wireless apparatus is within range of a network; a non-standard preamble pattern generator configured to selectively generate, based on whether the proximity analyzer detects that the wireless apparatus is within range of the network, a data packet preamble having a non-standard preamble pattern in which at least two bits that are adjacent to each other within a series of bits have a same value as each other, and a packet encoder configured to generate data packets including the data packet preamble having the non-standard preamble pattern and raw transmission data.

Each LDACS airborne station may be configured to collect respective routing metrics, and each LDACS airborne station may be selectively operable as at least one of a host and client. The enhanced LDACS may also include a peer-to-peer server configured to establish a mesh network topology from the LDACS airborne stations based upon the routing metrics, and selectively operate each LDACS airborne station as at least one of the host and client.

摘要: Private communication networks are facilitated. One method includes broadcasting, by a first device, to an access point device associated with a first network, a first signal comprising an identifier for a second network, wherein the access point device of the first network foregoes broadcast of a name of the first network, and wherein the first device is located at a first location and a second device is located at a second location remote from the first location. The first device and the second device are associated with the second network. The method also includes receiving a second signal indicative of a broadcast of the name of the second network based on an authentication of the identifier for the second network and key data representing a key for the second network; and connecting to a network device of the second network in response to the receiving the second signal.

摘要: A root key (K_iwf) is derived at a network and sent to MTC UE (10). The K_iwf is used for deriving subkeys for protecting communication between MTC UE (10) and MTC-IWF (20). In a case where HSS (30) derives the K_iwf, HSS (30) send to MTC-IWF (20) the K_iwf in a new message (Update Subscriber Information). In a case where MME (40) derives the K_iwf, MME (40) sends the K_iwf through HSS (30) or directly to MTC-IWF (20). MTC-IWF (20) can derive the K_iwf itself. The K_iwf is sent through MME (40) to MTC UE (10) by use of a NAS SMC or Attach Accept message, or sent from MTC-IWF (20) directly to MTC UE (10). In a case where the K_iwf is sent from MME (40), MME (40) receives the K_iwf from HSS (30) in an Authentication Data Response message, or from MTC-IWF (20) directly.

摘要: Presented herein are methodologies to on-board and monitor Internet of Things (IoT) devices on a network. The methodology includes receiving at a server, from a plurality of IoT devices communicating over a network, data representative of external environmental factors being experienced by individual ones of the plurality of IoT devices at a predetermined location; generating, using machine learning, an aggregated model of the external environmental factors at the predetermined location; receiving, at the server, a communication indicative that a new IoT device seeks to join the network at the predetermined location; receiving, from the new IoT device, data representative of external environmental factors being experienced by the new IoT device; determining whether there is a discrepancy between the external environmental factors of the new IoT device and the aggregated model; and when there is such a discrepancy, prohibiting the new IoT device from joining the network.

摘要: Techniques and systems are disclosed to enable location verification and tracking, for use or access of a geographic-specific phone number or similar location feature of a communications service by a mobile computing device at (or within) a geographic location or defined area. In an example, verification of a use of the device at the location or area is enabled by the receipt and collection of location verification data for a token having location verification and time data, with such location verification data being communicated via a short-range wireless network. The verification is enabled by communication of the token to a communications service for device identification and location registration, and assess to a resource based on registered use of the communications device at the geographic location. In further examples, capabilities for security, verification, and auditing of location information is enabled with use of the token and location information.
