Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a Random Access Channel (RACH) configuration from a network node, wherein the RACH configuration indicates at least one Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) resource for beam failure recovery. The method further includes receiving a timing advance command from the network node, and starting or restarting a time alignment timer when receiving the timing advance command. The method also includes releasing the at least one PRACH resource for the beam failure recovery indicated by the RACH configuration when the timing alignment timer expires.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for a user equipment (UE) operating in a serving cell is disclosed. The UE, in a first RRC_CONNECTED state, transmits an interest indication for a broadcast or a multicast service to a first serving cell. The interest indication includes at least some information associated with a broadcast or a multicast service. Upon entering a second RRC_CONNECTED state from an RRC_INACTIVE state, the UE may or may not send an interest indication to a second serving cell, taking into account the differences between the first and second serving cell, whether the second serving cell requested transmission of an interest indication, or whether the content of the second interest indication would be the same as the content of the first interest indication. A network node may retain UE context and other UE-related information after the UE has left an RRC_CONNECTED state, forward the information to another network node, and/or process the information when the UE re-enters the RRC_CONNECTED state.

The first through hole includes a first opening and a second opening. The second shell portion has a second through hole. The second through hole includes a third opening and a fourth opening. The ultrasonic sensor includes a transmitting unit and a receiving unit. The transmitting unit is coupled to the first opening. The receiving unit is coupled to the third opening. At least one of the second opening and the fourth opening is elongated. The ultrasonic sensing device greatly reduces the direct transmission of ultrasonic wave from the transmitting unit to the receiving unit.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for transmitting data duplication in a wireless communication system are disclosed herein. In one method for a user equipment (UE) configured with data duplication. The UE duplicates a data unit into a first data unit and a second data unit. The UE constructs a second Radio Link Control (RLC) Packet Data Unit (PDU) used for transmitting the second data unit. The second data unit is a second RLC Service Data Unit (SDU). The UE receives a control command from a network node. The control command is used to deactivate the data duplication. The UE discards the second RLC PDU if the second RLC PDU includes the second RLC SDU.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), a Slot Format Indication (SFI) is received within a first Channel Occupancy Time (COT) of a serving cell. The SFI is indicative of one or more slot formats of one or more slots of the serving cell. A first signal indicative of an ending position of the first COT is received. A beginning of at least one slot of the one or more slots is after the ending position. The UE determines whether to apply a slot format, of a slot of the one or more slots, to the slot based upon whether the slot is within the first COT, wherein the slot format of the slot is indicated by the SFI.

Abstract: Techniques for gaining initial access of a cell by a mobile device by using multiple numerologies associated with the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) are disclosed. The multiple numerologies are selected from numerologies that are both offered by the cell and which can be processed by the mobile device that is trying to gain the initial access. For example, one numerology can be used for the synchronization portion of the initial access and a different numerology can be use for the system information gathering and random access portions of the initial access. Also, upon gaining the initial access, the mobile device can be configured to use more numerologies for data communication, either simultaneously or one numerology at a time.
