Abstract:
A child seat attachment structure comprising a lower anchor comprising a fixing portion that is fixed to a configuration member configuring a vehicle body or a vehicle seat, a leg portion that extends from the fixing portion towards a vehicle top side, and a coupling portion that is provided at an upper end portion of the leg portion and that fixes a child seat to the vehicle body or the vehicle seat by connecting to a connector of the child seat; and a contacted portion that restricts displacement of the coupling portion of the lower anchor towards a vehicle front side with respect to the fixing portion by making contact with a portion of the lower anchor when the child seat fixed to the vehicle body or the vehicle seat has moved towards the vehicle front side.
Abstract:
A cutting jig is used in a method of reworking a head suspension which removes a slider from the head suspension by pressing a blade from a first side toward a second side in a longitudinal direction of the slider to solder ball bonding, stopping the second side of the slider in the longitudinal direction with a holding mechanism, and forcing the blade to bite and cut the solder ball bonding to remove the slider from the flexure. The cutting jig includes a cutting mechanism configured to press a blade to the bonding material from the first side toward the second side in the longitudinal direction of the slider, and a holding mechanism stopping the second side of the slider in the longitudinal direction when the blade is pressed to the bonding material.
Abstract:
A cylindrical boss portion is press-formed on a baseplate of a disk drive suspension. The boss portion is penetrated by a ball insertion hole relative to the thickness of the baseplate. The baseplate is formed of stainless steel. A chemically-polished surface is formed on an inner circumferential wall of the ball insertion hole by chemically polishing the baseplate after heat-treating it. The boss portion is inserted into a mounting hole of an actuator arm. A ball having a diameter larger than the inside diameter of the ball insertion hole is passed through the ball insertion hole. As the diameter of the boss portion is enlarged by the ball, the boss portion is fixed to the actuator arm.
Abstract:
A method manufactures a head suspension by laser-welding the flexure to the load beam at a first welding spot so that a tongue is pressed against a convex portion under predetermined load. The method includes step of forming, before joining the flexure and load beam together, at least one positioning reference hole in each of the flexure and load beam within a circular range that is defined around the first welding spot with a radius equal to a distance between the first welding spot and the projection, laying the flexure and load beam one on another, inserting reference pin into the reference holes, and laser-welding the flexure and load beam to each other at the first welding spot.
Abstract:
A suspension for disc drive has a base portion including a base plate, a load beam, a pair of hinge members, a wired flexure, etc. The wired flexure has a metal base and a wiring portion on the metal base. The hinge members are fixed overlapping the rear end portion of the load beam and the front end portion of the base plate. The wired flexure extends through a gap between the hinge members and ranges over the load beam and the base plate.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrostatic chuck comprising a substrate, a dielectric layer formed by thermal spraying on an upper face of the substrate, an internal electrode embedded in the dielectric layer, a feeder terminal portion extending from a lower face of the substrate to the internal electrode, and an electrode provided in the feeder terminal portion, wherein the feeder terminal portion and the substrate are fixed to each other by mechanical joining.
Abstract:
A disc drive suspension comprises a load beam, baseplate, hinge member, and wired flexure. The wired flexure has a metal base and a wiring portion formed on the metal base. A supported portion is formed on a part of the metal base of the flexure. The supported portion protrudes sideways from the wired flexure, and is fixed to the rear end portion of the baseplate.
Abstract:
An arrayed-waveguide grating type optical multi-demultiplexer includes input waveguides, a first slab waveguide, a channel waveguide array, a second slab waveguide, and output waveguides. A pair of different refractive index regions, each having a refractive index different from that of the second slab waveguide, are formed on the second slab waveguide near a boundary between the second slab waveguide and channel waveguide array. The different refractive index regions project in peninsular shapes from both side portions of the slab waveguide. Light traveling from each waveguide of the channel waveguide array toward the output waveguides passes through the different refractive index regions. An optical distribution with a flattened field-distribution peak is created at a boundary between the second slab waveguide and output waveguides.
Abstract:
A flat spring of a vehicular seat is elastically supported by means of supporting springs that extend in accordance with the load of an occupant. The seat has displacement sensors, first-stage determination step, second-stage determination step, and third-stage determination step. The displacement sensors output electrical signals corresponding to the respective elongations of the springs. The first-stage determination step determines the occupant in the seat in accordance with voltage values delivered from the displacement sensors. The second-stage determination step determines whether or not the result of determination by the first-stage determination step is maintained for a given period of time. The third-stage determination step compares the result of determination by the second-stage determination step with the preceding result of determination and specifies the occupant in accordance with the result of the comparison.
Abstract:
A breathable seat comprises a seat body formed of urethane foam, a three-dimensional network cushion body incorporated in that region of the seat body which bears a user's body, a seat cover having breathability, and a pan frame. The cushion body is formed of a large number of continuous linear elements of thermoplastic resin. The linear elements are looped windingly so that their respective contact portions are fused together. The seat body is formed having venting holes that penetrate the urethane foam in its thickness direction. The venting holes communicate with the cushion body and apertures of the pan frame. The seat cover envelops the seat body and the cushion body.
