Abstract: A display apparatus and a driving method of the same are provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver circuit, and a source driver circuit. During a functional sub-period of a frame period, the gate driver circuit simultaneously drives a plurality of gate lines, and the source driver circuit drives a plurality of source lines, so as to perform a function on a plurality of pixels connected to the gate lines. In a scan sub-period of the frame period, the gate driver circuit drives the gate lines according to a scan sequence, and the source driver circuit correspondingly drives the source lines according to the scan sequence of the gate driver circuit in the first scan sub-period, so as to display an image.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for sensing a display panel are provided. The apparatus includes a source driving circuit and a sensing circuit. The source driving circuit is coupled to data lines to drive the pixel circuits according to a scan-line period for scanning one of the scan lines. The sensing circuit is coupled to a plurality of pixel circuits. The sensing circuit senses characteristics of the pixel circuits according to the scan-line period for scanning one of the scan lines, wherein the scan-line period comprises a display data period and a test data period. In the test data period, a corresponding pixel circuit receives test data, and the sensing circuit senses the electrical characteristic of the corresponding pixel circuit. In the display data period, the corresponding pixel circuit receives display data from a corresponding data line, and the sensing circuit does not sense the corresponding pixel circuit.

Abstract: A phase compensation method for multi-scan in touch sensing system is provided. The phase compensation method includes the following steps. A plurality of carrier signals are received, and a demodulating operation is preformed on each of the carrier signals to obtain a first component signal and a second component signal of each of the carrier signals. An inverse matrix operation is respectively preformed on the first component signal and the second component signal both demodulated by the demodulating operation. A signal mixing operation is preformed on the first component signal and the second component signal both processed by the inverse matrix operation to obtain raw data of each of the carrier signals. Furthermore, a phase compensation circuit applying afore-said phase compensation method is also provided.

Abstract: In the disclosure, an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit is coupled between a first power rail and a second power rail to discharge any ESD stress. The ESD protection circuit includes a detection circuit, a triggering circuit, and a dual silicon controlled rectifier (DSCR) device. When an ESD stresses is being applied to the first or second power rail, the detection circuit may first detect the ESD stresses and output a detection signal to the triggering circuit. The triggering circuit generates a triggering signal based on the detection signal and the polarity of the ESD stress. Then, the DSCR device is symmetrically triggered based on the triggering signal received at a common node between at least two transistors of the same type. The exemplary ESD protection circuit may be implemented in nanoscale manufactured integrated circuit and achieve good ESD robustness while maintaining low standby leakage current and relatively small silicon footprint.

Abstract: An operational amplifier circuit is provided. The operational amplifier circuit includes a differential input stage circuit and a loading stage circuit. The differential input stage circuit includes an input circuit, a voltage maintaining circuit, and a current source. The input circuit includes a first input transistor and a second input transistor, for receiving a first and a second input signals, respectively. The voltage maintaining circuit includes a first branch circuit and a second branch circuit. The first branch circuit is coupled to the first input transistor for receiving the first input signal, and the second branch circuit is coupled to the second input transistor for receiving the second input signal. The current source is coupled to the first input transistor and the second input transistor. The loading stage circuit is coupled to the voltage maintaining circuit.

Abstract: A backside illumination global shutter pixel is disposed in a substrate having a first surface and a second surface and includes an isolation structure having a deep trench isolation pattern, a storage node, and a photoelectric conversion element.
