    摘要: A clamping unit, particularly for an injection molding machine, includes at least one moving platen which is moveably arranged on a frame element. At least one hydrostatic support is provided in an area between the platen and the frame element for facilitating back and forth displacement of the moving platen to thereby avoid speed-dependent friction values. Operation of the clamping unit is realized by building up pressure in a hydrostatic support before the moving platen is initiated for displacement so that the moving plate is slightly raises platen in relation to the frame element. After displacement of the moving platen, the pressure in the hydrostatic support is decreased again.

    摘要: A calibration device for calibrating extruded continuous profiles, in particular tubes, includes a plurality of successively arranged segment rings comprised of individual segments whose internal surfaces jointly form a calibration opening. Successively axially arranged segments are assembled in the form of a segment block. The individual segments of each segment block are arranged on a support structure, and the segment blocks are arranged, in an essentially circular form, in a housing in such a way that the axially adjacent segments partially overlap each other at each position thereof in a circumferential direction. Each support structure is connected to at least one mounting and operating device. The individual segment blocks which are associated to the support structures thereof are fixed to the housing with the aid of the mounting and operating device, and the adjustment of each segment block is carried out in an axial direction. In order to facilitate the installation and assembly, each mounting and operating device is divided into two parts, wherein a first part is connected to the support structure and a second part is received in the housing, and the two parts are connected with one another in a separable manner.

    摘要: A mold portion of a molding tool for making plastic articles includes a base body defining a cavity surface and having formed therein at least one heating channel, and at least one cooling channel separated from the heating channel and having a cross section which is smaller than a cross section of the heating channel. The cooling channel is positioned hereby closer to the cavity surface than the heat channel and thus is in an area between the heat channel and the cavity surface, thereby defining a cavity-proximal cooling channel and a cavity-distal heat channel. Before the injection process, the cavity surface is heated by the heat channel to a higher temperature than the demolding temperature of the plastic article to be formed. At the end of the injection process, the cavity surface is cooled by the cooling system.

    摘要: In a method for synchronizing drive units, a target value of the speed of each drive unit of a plurality of drive units speed is computed by determining the product of a maximum speed of the drive unit, a unit-dependent normalized ratio value of the drive unit, and a synchronization factor which is identical for all drive units. The ratio value defines the relative speeds of the individual drive units. Changing the synchronization factor causes synchronous speed changes of the drive units. As a result, a lasting synchronization can be realized across the entire speed spectrum.
