    摘要: A method of controlling operation of a beverage dispenser, includes the following steps: selecting a water recipe from a plurality of water recipes, wherein each water recipe defines a set concentration of minerals to be solved in the water and wherein the water is mineralized based on the water recipe by adding minerals by a mineralization device; verifying, whether the user is allowed to adjust a user adjustable a property of the water to be mineralized by the mineralization device according to water recipe, wherein the user adjustable property comprises at least one of a set temperature of the water to be mineralized and a set carbonization of the water to be mineralized; preparing the water by at least one water preparation element according to the user adjustable property; and outputting the mineralized water to a user vessel; and further includes at least one of the following steps: activating on a display a temperature user interface element for adapting the temperature of the water to be mineralized in a predetermined temperature range, if the user is allowed to adapt the set temperature within the predetermined temperature range; and activating on the display a carbonization user interface element for adapting the set carbonization of the water to be mineralized in a predetermined CO2 concentration range, if the user is allowed to adapt the set carbonization within the predetermined CO2 concentration range.

    摘要: An apparatus manages a dock, a portion of which is disposed over a body of water, from a remote device. A control unit is disposed on the dock. A plurality of sensors is each in data communication with the control unit. Each of the plurality of sensors includes: an electric shock sensor; a water level sensor that senses a distance to the water from a predetermined location of the dock; and a theft detection circuit. A communication chipset is in data communication with the control unit. The control unit includes a processor that is programmed to transmit to the remote device via the communication chipset an indication of the following: a shock likelihood sensed by the electric shock sensor; a level detected by the water level sensor; and an alert when the theft detection circuit detects a likelihood of theft.

    摘要: A triboelectric generator includes a first triboelectric member, which includes a first conductive layer and an insulating triboelectric material layer disposed on the first conductive layer. The triboelectric material layer includes a first material having a first position on a triboelectric series. An elastic member, disposed against the triboelectric material layer of the triboelectric member and includes a second conductive material, has an elasticity that results in the elastic member being deformed when compressed and returning to an original non-deformed shape after being compressed. The second conductive material has a second position on the triboelectric series. A first load is coupled to the first conductive layer and with the second conductive material so that when a force compresses the elastic member charges will flow between the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer through the load.

    摘要: A system for detecting a direction of a source of a laser beam includes a pixelated sensor that is sensitive to the laser beam. A mask is disposed between the source of a laser beam and the pixelated sensor. The mask includes an opaque portion that is opaque to the laser beam and a window portion that is at least translucent to the laser beam. When the laser impinges upon the mask an image of the window portion is projected onto the pixelated sensor. A processor determines an angle of incidence of the laser beam with respect to the mask by determining a number of pixels that the image of the window is offset from where the image of the window would be if the laser beam had been normal to the mask.

    摘要: A disperser system includes a disperser body that defines a substantially air-tight chamber therein. A sprayer assembly includes a passage, a fluid coupling, a nozzle, a valve, a valve trigger and a pouch. The passage is in fluid communication with the chamber. The valve is in fluid communication with both the passage and the fluid coupling and opens to the nozzle. The valve trigger is configured selectively to open the valve, thereby placing the passage and the fluid coupling in fluid communication with the nozzle. The pouch contains a fluid. When the chamber is charged with a gas and when the valve is opened, the gas flows through the passage and the fluid flows through the fluid coupling into the valve so that the gas entrains the fluid and delivers a suspension of the gas and the fluid to the nozzle, out of which the suspension is sprayed.

    摘要: A pipe coupling includes a rigid cylindrical member, a flexible cylindrical member and a hose clamp. The flexible cylindrical member includes a central tubular member within the rigid cylindrical member. A flexible sleeve extends beyond the rigid cylindrical member and has an inside diameter that is complimentary to a pipe. The sleeve has a first position in which the sleeve is folded back onto the rigid cylindrical member and a second position in which the sleeve is unfolded so as to envelope an end of the first pipe. The central tubular member includes a ledge that has an inside diameter corresponding to an inside diameter of the pipe.
