    Abstract: In an example implementation according to aspects of the present disclosure, a XR system comprises an HMD which includes an HMD display and a motion detection device, an external display of a computing device, and a processor operatively coupled with a computer readable storage medium and instructions stored on the computer readable storage medium that, when executed by the processor, direct the processor to detect an activation of a privacy mode; display, by the HMD display, a first series of images to a user of the HMD; display, by the external display, a second series of images to other users; capture, by the motion detection device, movements of the user selecting a sequence of images of the first series of images displayed on the HMD display; and authenticate the user based on the movements of the user.

    Abstract: Example connection ports for electronic devices are disclosed. In an example, the connection port includes a longitudinal axis, a receptacle that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis, and a substrate disposed within the receptacle. The substrate includes an end and a support surface that extends axially with respect to the longitudinal axis. In addition, the connection port includes a plurality of first electrical contacts on the support surface, a plurality of second electrical contacts on the end. Each second electrical contact is electrically coupled to a corresponding one of the first electrical contacts.

    Abstract: A method of stabilizing performance of a processing device may include determining a maximum operational temperature of any number of cores of a processing device from a thermal control circuit of the processing device; setting a maximum power based on a maximum thermal capacity of the processing device to a power lower than the maximum operational temperature; increasing the power provided to the processing device when the maximum thermal capacity is below a set temperature; and placing the power provided to the processing device to an intermediate power level relative to the operational temperature and the maximum thermal capacity when operations of the processing device are to exceed the operational temperature of any of the cores of the processing device.

    Abstract: In some examples, a fluid-ejection device can include a fluidic tube to fluidically connect to a fluid supply, a carriage having a fluidic interconnector fluidically connectable to the fluidic tube and movable between a first position and a second position, a receiver to receive an air purger, wherein the air purger, when present, is coupled to the receiver and fluidically connectable to the fluidic interconnector, and a controller to cause the carriage to actuate from the first position to the second position, determine a location of the carriage at the second position, and based on the location of the carriage at the second position, detect a status of the air purger, a status of an engageable lock in the air purger, or both.
