    Abstract: The invention relates to a floating maritime vessel including at least one hull beneath a deck, the hull extending between a bow and a stern in a longitudinal direction of the vessel, the vessel including, on its lower part, a removable keel and, on its upper part, a conning tower erected above the deck, the keel being able to be descended below the hull and raised back through the hull, the keel including a lower end and an upper end, the upper end of the keel connecting to the hull when the keel is in its lowered position. According to the invention, the conning tower contains a keel-storage space and the keel and the keel-storage space of the conning tower are aligned such that the keel can be raised by upward translation at least partly into the keel-storage space of the conning tower.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a system for the interferometric measurement of a physical parameter, including an amplified spontaneous emission light source, optically connected to a Sagnac ring interferometer, and two detectors, each supplying a measurement signal representative of the light output from the interferometer, and a reference signal representative of the light output emitted by the source, which is impaired by an excess relative intensity noise. This measurement is obtained from a difference between the measurement and reference signals, weighted by a weighting coefficient which is controlled to minimise the statistical deviation of an additional weighted difference between signals obtained by demodulating the measurement and reference signals by way of an additional digital demodulation sequential code insensitive to the parameter. Also disclosed is a gyroscope including such a measuring system.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a measurement system for aquatic environments, including a surface vessel and a submersible device, the submersible device including a hull, propulsion, guide, and sensors for taking measurements. The submersible device can either be launched from the vessel in order to then maneuver underwater independently of the vessel during a remote deployment phase, or be stored in a vessel during a non-deployment phase, the vessel including at least one hull and propulsion and guide, the at least one hull of the vessel including a submerged portion located below a waterline. The submerged portion of the at least one hull of the vessel includes a recess designed to receive at least an upper portion of the hull of the submersible device when the latter is stored in the vessel, the recess being arranged entirely below the waterline so that the submersible device remains completely submerged during storage.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a broadband underwater acoustic transceiver device. The device can be used in particular for positioning, detection, range finding or underwater acoustic communication. The device coaxially combines, within a transceiver device, a Tonpilz transducer and a FFR transducer, the FFR being arranged in front of the transmission face/horn of the Tonpilz transducer. In such a configuration, the Tonpilz horn also acts as reflective tape for the FFR transducer, forming a common tape-horn element. Furthermore, an annular baffle surrounding the Tonpilz pillar creates a Helmholtz cavity for broadening the emission band towards the low frequencies.

    Abstract: A fiber-optic measurement device (10) includes a SAGNAC ring interferometer (20) having a proper frequency fp, a detector (14) and a modulation chain (30) generating a phase-shift modulation φm(t) between the two counter-propagating waves (24, 25) propagating in the ring interferometer. The device aims to reduce measurement faults due to the linearity defects in the modulation chain of such a measurement device with optical fiber. For this reason, the fiber-optic measurement device reduces the amplitude of the phase-shift modulation φm(t) which is the sum of a first biasing phase-shift modulation component φb1(t) and a first counter-reaction phase-shift modulation component φcr1(t), the phase-shift modulation φm(t) falling or rising by twice the amplitude of the first biasing phase-shift modulation component φb1(t). A rate gyro including such a measurement device and an inertial stabilization or navigation unit including at least one such rate gyro are also described.
