摘要： Disclosed a transmission apparatus in a CDMA mobile communication system. Transmission frames each have a plurality of time slots, and each of the time slots includes two data parts having the same length, a midamble intervening between the data parts, and a guard period for dividing the consecutive time slots. The transmission apparatus modulates the frames into a radio signal with a modulation signal and transmits the modulated radio signal using a plurality of antennas. A power amplifier amplifies the radio signal. A controller generates a switching control signal in a guard period of time slots of a frame associated with the radio signal amplified by the power amplifier. A switch switches the amplified radio signal from the power amplifier between a first and a second antenna in response to the switching control signal.

摘要： Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for determining rate matching parameters for transport channels in mobile telecommunication system. The apparatus and method include determining first physical channel bit sizes usable in transmitting at least one first transport channel not supporting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) and at least one second transport channel supporting the hybrid automatic repeat request, determining if there is at least one second physical channel bit size in the first physical channel bit sizes, the second physical channel bit size allowing transmission for a size of coded bits corresponding to the first transport channel and a size of coded bits corresponding to the second transport channel based on rate matching and puncturing, reducing the size of the coded bits corresponding to the second transport channel when the second physical channel bit size is not included in the first physical channel bit sizes, returning to the step of determining if there is at least one second physical channel bit size after the size of the coded bits corresponding to the second transport channel is reduced, and when there is at least one second physical channel bit size, selecting one second physical channel size based on at least one second physical channel bit size as a rate matching parameter for the first transport channel and the second transport channel.

摘要： The present invention supposes a situation in which an Enhanced Uplink Dedicated transport Channel (EUDCH) is used in a Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) system. In a user equipment (UE), when physical channels for transmitting EUDCH data are transmitted in addition to existing physical channels, a Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of an uplink transport signal increases. The increase in PAPR depends upon Orthogonal Variable Spreading Factor (OVSF) codes allocated to the corresponding physical channels and in-phase/quadrature-phase (I/Q) channels. Therefore, the present invention proposes an apparatus and method for allocating optimum OVSF codes and I/Q channels to EUDCH-related physical channels in order to minimize an increase in PAPR due to EUDCH.

摘要： A method and apparatus for efficiently transmitting channel quality information in an OFDM communication system using dynamic channel allocation and adaptive modulation, and determining parameters required for time-division channel quality information transmission in an asynchronous CDMA communication system are provided. In the OFDM communication system in which a plurality of subcarriers are allocated to a plurality of UEs, the subcarriers are divided into a plurality of subcarrier groups each having at least one subcarrier. Each of the UEs determines and transmits the channel quality information of each of the subcarrier groups according to predetermined transmission parameters at transmission time points that do not overlap with those of other UEs. A Node B dynamically allocates the subcarriers to the UEs and their corresponding modulation schemes according to the channel quality information.
