摘要： Disclosed a transmission apparatus in a CDMA mobile communication system. Transmission frames each have a plurality of time slots, and each of the time slots includes two data parts having the same length, a midamble intervening between the data parts, and a guard period for dividing the consecutive time slots. The transmission apparatus modulates the frames into a radio signal with a modulation signal and transmits the modulated radio signal using a plurality of antennas. A power amplifier amplifies the radio signal. A controller generates a switching control signal in a guard period of time slots of a frame associated with the radio signal amplified by the power amplifier. A switch switches the amplified radio signal from the power amplifier between a first and a second antenna in response to the switching control signal.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing first and second interleaved bit streams to a modulator in order to transmit the first and second interleaved bit streams through at least two antennas in a mobile communication system. An encoder encodes a transmission data stream into a first bit stream with first priority and a second bit stream with second priority being lower than the first priority. An interleaver interleaves the first and second bit streams into the first and second interleaved bit streams. The modulator modulates the first and second interleaved bit streams. The method comprises distributing the first interleaved bit stream into first assignment bit streams for the respective antennas and the second interleaved bit stream into second assignment bit streams for the respective antennas according to power condition information of the respective antennas; and generating combination bit streams by combining the first assignment bit streams and the second assignment bit streams, distributed according to the respective antennas, and providing the generated combination bit streams to the modulator.

摘要： Disclosed is a mobile station for determining a data rate for a packet data service in a mobile communication system including a base station, and the mobile station being provided with a voice service and a packet data service from the base station. In the mobile station, a receiver receives orthogonal code allocation information indicating the number of orthogonal codes allocated for the packet data service, a measurer measures a CIR using a received pilot channel, and a controller determines a data rate corresponding to the measured CIR, controls the determined data rate based on the number of the allocated orthogonal codes, and determines a controlled data rate.

A UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) transmits a gating start command or a gating end command to a UE (User Equipment) through a specific transport format combination indicator symbol according to whether there exists data transmitted over a downlink physical shared channel and a dedicated physical data channel, thereby to start or end gating the dedicated physical control channel.

摘要： A method and system are provided for transmitting data in a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system. A receiver sets the number of sub-streams of each column of a preceding matrix with respect to all precoding matrices of channels formed between the receiver and a transmitter and measures channel states with respect to sub-stream combinations whose number is equivalent to the number of set sub-streams. The receiver transmits data according to channel states to the transmitter after measuring the channel states with respect to the sub-stream combinations and antenna combinations representing sub-streams used upon data transmission of all the precoding matrices.
