Abstract: The present invention provides a dry spraying material for a firing furnace, which is free from a need for a drying process after spraying, and capable of withstanding physical shock from furnace contents. The dry spraying material according to the present invention is designed for a firing furnace having a furnace wall temperature of 1400° C. or less, wherein a SiO2 component derived from raw materials having a particle size of less than 75 μm and an Al2O3 component derived from raw materials having a particle size of less than 75 μm are contained in the dry spraying material, respectively, in the dry spraying material in an amount of 1% by mass to 10% by mass and in an amount of 5% by mass to 40% by mass. Further, a basic compound fine powder of one or more types selected from the group consisting of magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate, magnesium nitrate, calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, and calcium nitrate each having a particle size of less than 75 μm is contained in a raw material mixture in a total amount of 0.1% by mass to 5% by mass. One or more types selected from alkali silicate and alkali phosphate are used as a binder, and the amount of usage of cement is limited to 5% by mass or less.

Abstract: An opening-closing apparatus capable of, when using a robot arm to selectively open and close a component of a sliding nozzle device, reliably opening and closing the component to respective given positions. The apparatus comprises: a hand-like distal module engageable with an openable-closable component of a sliding nozzle device; a force sensor to detect a force received by the module; and a robot arm to which the module and the sensor are mounted. The robot arm is controllably operated to: move the module toward the component of the sliding nozzle device and engage the module with the component of the sliding nozzle device; then move the module to move the component, if the absolute value of the force detected by the sensor is equal to or less than a given threshold; and stop the movement of the module, when the absolute value of the force detected by the sensor reaches the threshold.

Abstract: Provided is a thermal spray material capable of, when used in a thermal spray operation for repairing a furnace wall of an industrial furnace or for other purposes, maintaining good post-repetition bondability with respect to a target surface to thereby prevent peel-off of a resulting thermally sprayed deposit, and improving initial ignitability while suppressing dust-generating property. The thermal spray material comprised a basic compound comprising at least one of a Ca component and an Mg component, a metal Si powder, and a silica-based or alumina-silica based powder. A content rate of a fraction constituting the basic compound and having a particle size of 0.15 mm or less is 30 mass % or more with respect to 100 mass % of the basic compound, and a content rate of a fraction constituting the metal Si powder and having a particle size of 20 μm or less is from 10 mass % to 25 mass % with respect to 100 mass % of the thermal spray material. Further, (the content rate (mass %) of the fraction constituting the metal Si powder and having a particle size of 20 μm or less, with respect to 100 mass % of the thermal spray material)/(a content rate (mass %) of the fraction constituting the basic compound and having a particle size of 0.15 mm or less, with respect to 100 mass % of the thermal spray material) is from 0.8 to 10, and a content rate of a fraction constituting the metal Si powder and having a particle size of 10 μm or less is 60 mass % or more with respect to 100 mass % of the metal Si powder.

The central protrusion portion (1) is disposed symmetrically as a pair; and a total length Tp in the thickness direction of the pair of the central protrusion portions is 0.15 or more and 0.75 or less of Tn.
