摘要： The fuel supply system includes an air pipe which is connected between a fuel oil supply pipe and an inlet side of a forced air passage and is provided at a middle portion thereof with an elevation positioned above any portion of the fuel supply pipe between the air pipe and a pot of the oil burner. The fuel supply system may include an outflow prevention mechanism wherein the elevation formed at the air pipe is above the elevation of the fuel supply pipe and a return pipe, and the return pipe has an elevation positioned between the elevation of the air pipe and that of the fuel supply pipe and is connected between the oil reservoir and the fuel supply pipe.

摘要： An oil burner of the wick ignition type is disclosed which is capable of effectively preventing the generation of bad odor due to unburned fuel oil gas after the fire-extinguishing operation as well as during the operation. The oil burner includes an air pumping mechanism. The mechanism comprises an air pumping means which is adapted to discharge air to a combustion cylinder construction when it is heated and suck air thereinto from the combustion cylinder construction when it is cooled and an air chamber arranged between the pumping means and the combustion cylinder construction so as to be communicated with the both. The air pumping means may comprise a rigid closed vessel formed of a heat transfer material and arranged to receive heat directly from the combustion cylinder construction. Alternatively, it may comprise a deformable closed vessel and a vessel deforming member formed of a thermo-sensitive deformable material such as shape memory alloy and arranged to receive heat from the combustion cylinder construction.

摘要： A device for adjusting the vertical position of a wick for an oil burner is disclosed which is capable of effectively and positively keeps the combustion position of the wick within a range of constantly attaining the normal combustion of the oil burner. The wick adjusting device includes a circular member fitted on a wick operating shaft and received in a slidable knob to be moved with the knob. The circular member is formed with a slot in which a pin-like projection of a gear is movably fitted and with which the projection is engaged at the minimum combustion position to prevent the knob from being further rotated in the fire-extinguishing direction during the combustion operation.
