摘要: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for low-CO2 emission combustion of liquid fuel with a gas-assisted liquid fuel oxygen reactor. The system comprises an atomizer that sprays fuel and CO2 into an evaporation zone, where the fuel and CO2 is heated into a vaporized form. The system comprises a reaction zone that receives the vaporized fuel and CO2. The system includes an air vessel having an air stream, and a heating vessel adjacent to the air vessel that transfers heat to the air vessel. The system comprises an ion transport membrane in flow communication with the air vessel and reaction zone. The ion transport membrane receives O2 permeating from the air stream and transfers the O2 into the reaction zone resulting in combustion of fuel. The combustion produces heat and creates CO2 exhaust gases that are recirculated in the system limiting emission of CO2.

摘要: A premixed fuel burner assembly includes a hollow tubular burner body, a hollow tubular venturi tube and a distribution plate. The burner body is a hollow tube having a open end and a closed end. The burner body also has a longitudinal porting area within which are formed a plurality of radially formed slots. The hollow tubular venturi tube is positioned within the burner body along the longitudinal axis extending from said first end. The distribution plate has a mid-section and longitudinal flanges. The flanges of the distribution plate are coupled to the inside surface of burner body and said mid-section has a plurality of holes formed within. The distribution plate is axially aligned and positioned within said burner body such that said holes of distribution plate are positioned adjacent the radially formed slots within said burner body.

摘要: A device and a method for burning fuel in air. The device includes an annular passage for directing the air in a meridional flow with regard to an axis. A swirl cascade is provided for imposing a swirl on the flow, and a mixer for intermixing the fuel with the flow for forming an essentially homogeneous mixture. Also present is an air flow delayer for delaying a portion of the flow that lies radially on the outside with regard to the axis relative to other portions of the flow. The device is configured in particular as a premix burner, for example for use in a gas-turbine plant.

摘要: A vaporizing combustion chamber for a heater running on liquid fuel, in particular a vehicle heater, in which inter alia two pipes disposed concentrically one inside the other form therebetween an annular chamber which is closed at a first end. At the second end, the annular chamber is open and leads into a flame diaphragm which projects radially inwards from the outer pipe and is located at a spacing in front of the inner pipe. At both its ends the inner pipe is substantially open and the opening at the second end is contracted by a concentric baffle edge of a baffle plate. In order to improve the emission values of the combustion chamber exhaust gas and reduce combustion noises both when the combustion chamber is disposed horizontally and when it is disposed vertically, the opening in the flame diaphragm is eccentric to the opening, in the inner pipe, formed by the baffle edge of the baffle plate. The radially larger wall surface of the flame diaphragm is in the vicinity of the fuel-introduction point on the periphery.

摘要: A method and apparatus for high-efficiency burning of a liquid fuel such as kerosine after it has been foamed. The fuel is converted into a fine foam by supplying foaming air thereinto through a porous element having a mean pore diameter of 1-200 .mu.m and air sufficient for ensuring complete combustion is separately supplied to a combustion chamber. The foaming air is passed through the porous element at an apparent velocity of 0.01-1 m/s. The porous element is a sintered metal body having a density of 4-6 g/cm.sup.3 and a void ratio of 35-45% or a ceramic body having a density of 2.0-5.0 g/cm.sup.3 and an apparent porosity of 15-45%. The method and apparatus enable ignition, prolonged continuous combustion and extinguishment to be conducted stably and with exceedingly low generation of CO, NO.sub.x and soot, and, as such are applicable to oil space heaters and industrial boilers.

摘要: A combustion heater includes a burner cylinder defining therein a combustion chamber. The burner cylinder has a peripheral wall thereof having a number of air inlet holes formed therein, one bottomed end thereof having an end wall formed with at least one opening, and another open end thereof having a peripheral edge. A wick is exposed to the combustion chamber for impregnating with liquid fuel. The peripheral edge of the open end of the burner cylinder is disposed in close contact with the wick. The end wall of the bottomed end of same is opposed to the wick. The burner cylinder has a radially extending reflecting portion formed by the end wall of the bottomed end thereof.
