摘要: A fuel delivery system for a gas turbine engine that employs a technique for purging fuel delivery tubes in an effective manner. The fuel delivery system includes at least one multifunction valve that has a flow through position and a bi-directional purge position. The fuel delivery system also includes at least one flow divider that is positioned downstream from the multifunction valve and divides the flow of fuel from the valve into a number of the fuel delivery tubes, where a separate fuel delivery tube is provided for each combustor in the engine. The flow divider includes a pump element for all of the fuel delivery tubes that can operate in a forward and a reverse direction. Purge water provided downstream from the flow divider for each of the fuel delivery tubes can be pumped by the flow divider when the multifunction valve is in the purge position.

摘要: The present invention materially enhances the quality of the environment and mankind by contributing to the restoration or maintenance of the basic life-sustaining natural elements. The present invention reduces the amount of carbon monoxide introduced to the atmosphere of a combustion system. This is achieved by furnishing a systems approach to optimize the amount of oxygen to be chemically combined with fuel upon ignition of both allowing the correct amount of carbon to combine with the correct amount of oxygen thus fully release the thermal energy stored therein. By so furnishing the level of oxygen with carbon of the fuel, more carbon dioxide is produced thus proportionally reduces the amount of carbon monoxide released to the atmosphere. The present invention provides a heating system that surpasses the net and gross efficiency performance of a natural gas burner.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a proportionally controlled burner that omits as many mechanical components as possible, reducing power consumption, and minimizes the amount of heat lost via a flue. To that end, in the present invention, a high-speed solenoid valve (11) is provided in a fuel-supply system (Lf); said high-speed solenoid valve (11) has the ability to open when an inputted pulse signal is on and close when said pulse signal is off; an oxygen-concentration sensor (80) that is located on the combustion-exhaust side and measures the oxygen concentration of a flue gas is provided, as is a control device (60) to which measurement results from said oxygen-concentration sensor (80) are sent; and said control device (60) has the ability to change the frequency of an inverter (50) and regulate the amount of combustion air such that the flue-gas oxygen concentration detected by the oxygen-concentration sensor (80) approaches zero.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a mobile machine, such as hydronic surface heater designed to be transported to a potentially remote worksite and operated for an extended period of time. The machine has a fueled component, such as a burner, fueled by a fuel supply system having at least two fuel tanks that are operably connected to one another by a connection line having an electronically controlled valve therein. The valve is coupled to the machine's electrical system, such as being coupled to the output of the machine's main breaker, so as to be opened whenever the machine is operating but to be otherwise closed. The fuel supply system thus has, in effect, a single tank when the machine is running and multiple separated tanks when the machine is not running. Fuel spill risks therefore are mitigated without having to sacrifice operating time and without significantly complicating the machine's fuel supply systems or its controls.

摘要: The present invention provides an inexpensive and environmentally friendly system and method for producing energy utilizing a gravitation drip technique. A clean burning liquid fuel is dripped from an upper container into a lower container that houses a heat-absorbing substrate. A combustion reaction is initiated between the fuel and the heat absorbing substrate to produce a continuous flame. Thermal energy from the flame and the combustion process is retained by the heat-absorbing substrate. The thermal energy from the flame and/or heat-absorbing substrate can be harvested to convert water into steam. This steam energy can be harnessed to generate mechanical energy and produce electricity.
