Abstract:
An input buffer circuit and associated method operable in a normal mode and a hot-plug mode. In one example, the input buffer has an input and a buffer output, and the input buffer may include a pull-up path coupled between a first circuit supply and the buffer output; a pull-down path coupled between the buffer output and a ground reference voltage; a first transistor coupled between the input and the pull-up path to activate the pull-up path; a second transistor coupled between the input and the pull-down path to activate the pull-down path; and a third transistor for protecting the pull-up path from over-voltage. The input buffer circuit may be configured to prevent an over-voltage condition on each of the plurality of transistors and the input buffer circuit may be configured to allow a hot-plug operation.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a device for feeding pulverized coal to a furnace, such as a drop tube furnace. The feeding system consists of a feed hopper, a pneumatic vibrator positioned on the periphery of the feeder hopper, a needle valve arrangement in the said feed hopper, a depth gauge micrometer, a distribution chamber with primary and secondary airline at the bottom of the said feed hopper. Adjusting the pressure of compressed air allows setting of the frequency of vibration of the pneumatic vibrator. The needle valve arrangement in conjunction with the vibratory hopper controls the feed rate. The rate of coal flow is measured by the depth gauge micrometer. The distribution chamber with primary and secondary airline at the bottom of the said feed hopper allows uniform mixing of air with coal before being charged into the furnace reactor.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes a memory that stores instructions; and a processing unit that executes the instructions to identify a created process, to receive a notification of a first event for an ancestor process and a notification for a second event for the created process, the notification of the first event indicating a first ActivityID and a first ID, the notification of the second event indicating a second ActivityID and a second ID, the first ID being different from the second ID, to perform a first determination that the created process was created by a component object model (COM) call, at least in part based on the second ID, and to perform a second determination that the ancestor process indirectly created the created process, at least in part based on the first and second ActivityIDs and the first determination.
Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a benzylamide compound or a salt thereof that controls a mite. The present invention provides a benzylamide compound represented by Formula (1): or a salt thereof, wherein R1 represents C1-6 alkyl or C1-6 haloalkyl; R2 and R3 are identical or different and each represent hydrogen, halogen, cyano, nitro, C1-6 alkyl, or the like; R4 represents hydrogen, formyl C1-6 alkyl, or the like; R5 and R6 are identical or different and each represent hydrogen, halogen, or C1-6 alkyl, or the like; R7, R8, R9, R10, and R11 are identical or different and each represent hydrogen, halogen, or the like; X represents oxygen or sulfur; and n represents an integer of 0 to 2.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention can provide systems and methods for controlling the load of demand response metering devices. According to one embodiment of the invention, a system can be provided. The system can be operable to receive a load limit, store the load limit, determine a load demand of a location, provide an alarm when the load demand is greater than the load limit, and restrict electricity to the location when the load demand remains greater than the load limit for a predetermined amount of time.
Abstract:
A system for re-ordering a scan chain of an electronic circuit design using an electronic design automation (EDA) tool includes a processor and a memory in communication with the processor. The scan chain includes a plurality of scan cells. All connections of the scan chain are disconnected. An output port of a first scan cell is connected to input ports of other scan cells to form a first set of scan cell combinations. A first scan cell combination is selected from the first set of scan cell combinations based on weighted averages of ordering parameters of each of the first set of scan cell combinations. The process is repeated to re-order the scan chain.
Abstract:
A digital subscriber line (DSL) unit comprises a first user port configured to communicate signals according to an Ethernet protocol and a second user port configured to communicate signals according to a second non-Ethernet protocol The DSL unit also comprises at least one DSL port configured to communicate signals according to a DSL protocol; and a processing device configured to analyze Ethernet signals received over the first user port to determine when to output data from the respective received Ethernet signals over the second user port and when to output data from the respective received Ethernet signals over the at least one DSL port. The processing device is further configured to extract data from signals received over the second user port and insert the extracted data into a corresponding Ethernet signal having a respective emulated circuit identification and to output the corresponding Ethernet signal over the first user port.
