    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a silent chain and a silent chain transmission device which stabilize chain behavior during chain travel to suppress an occurrence of tooth skipping and to reduce a string vibration sound and a meshing noise with simple configurations. In a silent chain 110, a pin hole 161 of an inner plate 160 and a pair of locker pins 170 are configured in such a size that a gap is formed between a seat surface 163 and a back surface of a short pin 172 in a state where the pair of locker pins 170 are in contact with each other on rolling surfaces 171a and 172a.

A tensioner 10 includes a plunger 20, a housing 30, a main spring 60, and a relief valve 40. The relief valve 40 includes a seat member 41, a valve member 42, and a relief spring 43. The plunger 20 includes an outward relief passage 23, and a bottom protrusion 22a protruding rearward integrally with and continuously from a plunger bottom 22.     Abstract: A conveyor belt (11) is formed by coupling multiple chain links 15 aligned in a conveyance direction X. The chain link (15) is provided with multiple recess parts (15a) and first hinge parts (21) protruding in the conveyance direction X from positions between which each of the recess parts (15a) is placed. If some object hits on an outer end of the conveyor belt (11) to apply force to the first hinge part (21), a section including the first hinge part (21) and a bulging part (30) pivots about a fulcrum at an outer base end of the first hinge part (21) to deform this section. The protective guide includes a flexible curved strip-shaped base and plural flexible sectioning members. The base is made of a synthetic resin, formed into a long plate and has a longitudinal direction.
