摘要: A method for assembling an annular seal element, formed by a sealing cord which runs around an opening on a seal receptacle which runs around on the outside of a component. The method includes introducing two assembly fingers into the opening of the annular seal element, stretching the annular seal element by moving the assembly fingers apart from one another, with the formation of a cord portion of the sealing cord, the cord portion being freely tensioned between the assembly fingers, placing the freely tensioned cord portion onto the seal receptacle in a contact region, applying the annular seal element, by way of its opening, onto the seal receptacle, and removing the assembly fingers from the annular seal element. The assembly fingers are moved so as to follow the profile of the seal receptacle, to travel around the seal receptacle in opposite directions.

摘要: A steering column for a motor vehicle has an actuating unit that encloses a steering shaft that is rotatable about a rotation axis and which by way of the rear end region thereof that faces the rear of the vehicle is disposed so as to, by means of a first motorized drive, be vertically pivotable by way of an articulated pivot lever on a holding unit which is fastened to the vehicle chassis. The cost-effective attachment of the front end region of the steering column is improved in that the actuating unit in the front end region that faces the front of the vehicle is provided with an elastic bracket element which is fixedly connectable to the vehicle chassis and on account of an elastic deformation permits vertical pivoting as well as axial displacement of the actuating unit.

摘要: A steer-by-wire steering system for motor vehicles may include a primary steering level with a steering transmission device, which is arranged to subject wheels of the motor vehicle to a desired setpoint steering effect, and a secondary steering level with a safety device that provides predefined functions, so that in the case of a malfunction of the primary steering level, steering the wheels remains possible during an emergency mode. The steer-by-wire steering system may also include an authentication system with a communications interface for communications with the safety device. The authentication system may be arranged so that in the case of a successful authorization, the secondary steering level of the steer-by-wire steering system is also available after the emergency mode.

摘要: An adjustable steering column assembly includes a lower jacket, a rake bracket, a rake guide, and a fastener coupling each. The lower jacket has an attachment portion with an end, and a passage extends from that end at least partially through the attachment portion. The attachment portion end has upper and lower seating faces extending into the passage. The rake bracket has a base portion and an arm with an aperture. The rake guide has upper and lower ends and a hole. The upper and lower ends respective have configurations complementary to configurations of the upper and lower seating faces, and the rake guide is positioned in the end of the lower jacket attachment portion such that the rake guide upper end mates with the upper seating face and such that the rake guide lower end mates with the lower seating face.

摘要: A method and system for rack-and-pinion position adjustment for a steer-by-wire steering system for a motor vehicle. A module provides adjustment of the rack-and-pinion position, by determining a position error from a difference between desired and estimated value(s) of the rack-and-pinion position and the rack-and-pinion speed in a feedback structure, from which a control variable is determined for controlling the rack-and-pinion and a disturbance variable compensation for the control variable is carried out in a feedforward structure by means of a rack force estimation.

摘要: A method for dead time optimization of MOSFETs in an inverter of an motor controller of an electric motor in an electromechanical motor vehicle power steering mechanism or a steer-by-wire system. The inverter includes at least two MOSFETs comprising a high side MOSFET and a low side MOSFET, and wherein the motor controller controls the at least two MOSFETS with gate driver signals with a dead time. The dead time represents a time of the MOSFETs for switching over from one MOSFET to another MOSFET connected in series. The method includes the steps of measuring a cross conduction between the high side MOSFET and the low side MOSFET in a current measurement unit, and when a cross conduction occurs the dead time is increased, otherwise the dead time is decreased.

摘要: A method for producing an axially movable connection between two tubular components with a plastic as a sliding material therebetween may involve providing the components to be joined where either at least one of the two components has a plastic coating or a plastic sleeve is provided between the components, joining the components to form a unit via a pressing force in an axial direction, clamping the unit in a device in which the components can be clamped and subjected to a displacement force in the axial direction, pressing a sonotrode against an outer of the two components, injecting an ultrasound signal into the sonotrode at a frequency close to the resonance frequency of one of the components, and moving the tubular components back and forth in the axial direction until the displacement force or the displacement velocity reaches a target, and ending the ultrasound signal.
