摘要: A method for performing an evasive maneuver with a commercial vehicle-trailer combination includes ascertaining that a collision between the commercial vehicle-trailer combination and a collision object is impending. The method further includes determining an evasion trajectory by which the commercial vehicle-trailer combination can evade the collision object without coming into contact with the collision object, determining a desired steering angle based on the evasion trajectory and activating an active steering system of the commercial vehicle-trailer combination in dependence on the determined desired steering angle such that the commercial vehicle-trailer combination moves along the evasion trajectory from a starting traffic lane to a target traffic lane so as to perform the evasive maneuver. The method additionally includes determining a desired vehicle deceleration and initiating an electronic braking system of the commercial vehicle-trailer combination in dependence on the desired vehicle deceleration so as to brake the commercial vehicle-trailer combination.

摘要: A discharge cut-off valve for an air compressor is provided. The discharge cut-off valve includes a hinged leaf valve within the recessed portion of a cylinder head manifold. The hinged leaf valve is rotatably anchored at a first end to a joint pin and is guided at a second end by a guide pin. In the on-load phase, the hinged leaf valve is seated over an unloader vent opening while a discharge vent opening is uncovered. In the off-load phase, the hinged leaf valve is seated over the discharge vent opening while the unloader vent opening is uncovered. As a result, compressed air is prevented from escaping the discharge port of the air compressor during the off-load phase, obviating the need for a down-stream turbo cut-off valve in an air dryer, for example.

摘要: A method for decelerating a vehicle combination including a towing vehicle having a towing vehicle brake system and at least one trailer vehicle having a trailer brake system with an anti-lock brake system includes applying, by the towing vehicle brake system, a brake pressure to pneumatically operable wheel brakes of the towing vehicle according to a desired deceleration specified by a driver, and providing, by the towing vehicle brake system, a trailer brake pressure for the trailer brake system of the at least one trailer vehicle. An electronic brake control unit of the towing vehicle brake system: detects a current actual vehicle deceleration value continuously compares the current actual vehicle deceleration actual value with a maximum deceleration, and, when the current actual vehicle deceleration value reaches or exceeds the maximum deceleration, limits the brake pressure and provides an information signal.

摘要: A pneumatic ABS valve device for a pneumatic brake system of a vehicle comprises a check valve mechanism for enabling a supply air flow from a supply port to a delivery port and blocking an air flow in the reverse direction. The check valve mechanism comprises a quick release insert disposed in an insert chamber, the quick release insert being placeable in a basic position for providing a chamber passage in the insert chamber enabling the supply air flow. The quick release insert is displaceable by an air pressure difference from the basic position into an activated blocking position, in which the chamber passage is at least diminished with respect to its basic position, in order to block an air flow from the supply port to the delivery port and enabling exhaust air flow.

The wear monitoring device has a first sensor unit that quantitatively ascertains the cumulative wear of the first and second brake linings. The wear monitoring device outputs, at the output connection of the first sensor unit, a first electrical output signal that is associated with the cumulative wear. A signal line is connected on the one hand to the output connection of the first sensor unit and on the other hand to an evaluating unit. The signal line is arranged in such a manner that, when a predetermined first wear limit of the first or second brake lining is reached, the signal line comes into contact with a stop.
