    Abstract: Techniques for determining power levels of radios, including a time domain duplexing (TDD) system, in shared frequency spectrum is provided. A TDD radio, of the TDD system, in a neighborhood having a largest interference contribution in the frequency spectrum at the point. Transmit power levels are determined for (a) the selected TDD radio, (b) other radios in the neighborhood that are not part of the TDD system, and (c) at least one radio in the TDD system that is not the TDD radio having the largest interference contribution in the frequency spectrum. Thus, interference margin may be fairly allocated to radios in neighborhood(s) about protection points.

    Abstract: A system is provided. The system comprises a radio frequency (RF) planning system, comprising: a first processing system; a first communications system coupled to the first processing system; at least one input/output device coupled to the first processing system; wherein the first processing system comprises first memory circuitry and first processor circuitry; and wherein the first processing system is configured to: receive proposed RF access system design criteria; synthesize an RF access system design; assess interference using shared spectrum system data and data about the synthesized RF access system design; determine if the proposed RF access system design criteria are acceptable based upon the interference assessment; and if the proposed RF access system design criteria are unacceptable, then adjust the proposed RF access system design criteria.

    Abstract: A system and method for determining transmission delay in a communications system. In some embodiments, satellite positioning information having System Frame Number (SFN) information may be received for a mobile device and observed time difference of arrival (OTDOA) measurements may be received for a mobile device. A location of the mobile device may be determined as a function of the received satellite positioning information. A Global Positioning System (GPS) time estimate may be determined as a function of the determined location of the mobile device. Transmission delay between a node serving the mobile device and an antenna serving the mobile device may be determined as a function of the received OTDOA measurements and determined GPS time estimate.
