摘要: A system and method integrate synchronous electronic (e.g., chat) communications with asynchronous electronic communications in the form of body-less electronic mail messages (emails). Body-less emails have a subject line but lack a message body capable of receiving message content. When converting a synchronous electronic communication into a body-less email, a processor places each text message of the synchronous electronic communication into the subject line of the body-less email. When converting a received body-less email into a synchronous electronic communication, the processor places each text message in the subject line of the body-less email into a chat format. A user can readily transition between asynchronous and synchronous communications.

摘要: A content searching data processing system can be configured for specifying weighted search terms for a search engine. The system can include a search engine executing in a host server. The search engine can be coupled to a search index and can be configured for communicative coupling to different content browsers executing in respective clients over a computer communications network. Finally, the system can include weighted search term logic coupled to the search engine. The logic can include program code enabled to render a search term entry user interface in which variable weights are specified for corresponding search terms, to assign the variable weights to the corresponding search terms and to issue a search to the search engine with the search terms and variable weights and to return results of the search to a requesting one of the content browsers.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for the biosynthetic production of 4-amino-4-deoxychorismate (ADC) performed fermentatively in vivo with a 4-amino-4-deoxychorismate synthase, preferably a PabAB bipartite protein (which may be a fusion protein), at an increased level of activity, thereby obtaining a broth comprising ADC and 4-amino-4-deoxyprephenate (ADP), that are recovered. The invention also relates to a further process of converting the ADP into p-aminophenylalanine. The invention, moreover relates to biosynthetic production of [3R,4R]-4-amino-3-hydroxycyclohexa-1,5-diene-1-carboxylic acid (3,4-CHA), by concerted action of such 4-amino-4-deoxychorismate synthase and of an enzyme capable of converting isochorismate into [5S,6S]-5,6 dihydroxycyclohexa-1,3-diene-1-carboxylic acid (2,3-CHD), preferably a phenazine biosynthesis protein PhzD, including recovery of 3,4-CHA. The invention also relates to expression vectors and host cells for use in any of such processes. The invention further relates to the use of 3,4-CHA as a catalytically active product, in particular as a chiral catalyst. And the invention finally relates to synthesis of oseltamivir phosphate from 3,4-CHA.

摘要: A data retrieval system provides automatic retrieval of information based on a context-traversal history. A transferable object is identified in a first context while the user is operating in the first context. Information used to retrieve the transferable object is automatically stored without user interaction. The automatically stored information is used to copy the transferable object to an object receptor in a second context while the user operates in the second context. A marker stored in the memory signifies an end of a first historical period associated with the first context and a start of a second historical period associated with the second context, associates the transferable object identified in the first context with the first historical period, and separates the information automatically stored in the memory in the first historical period from information automatically stored in the memory in the second historical period.

摘要: A system for providing collaborative tag sets to assist in the navigation and use of a folksonomy. The collaborative tag sets are social in nature. As more users group two tags together into tag sets, the disclosed system causes the association between those two tags to grow stronger, as exposed in the bookmark system user interface when alternative tags are suggested for browsing the bookmarks in a folksonomy. Tags that are grouped together by a user into a tag set have the strongest possible weight for that user, and accordingly the disclosed system automatically applies all tags in a set when that user is retrieving bookmarks if the user selects at least one of tags in the set. Tags not in the user's tag sets, but included in the public tag set(s) of another user(s) are displayed in the user interface as tag suggestions.

摘要: A method and apparatus assigns a quantative variable to each object (or set of objects) in a collection available to a user. The quantative variable is referred to as the Interest Priority Value (IPV). The IPV defines a range of states of the object, between ‘accessed’ and ‘unaccessed’, and is calculated based on one or more attributes of the object. A object with the highest IPV is the most ‘unaccessed,’ and the object with the lowest IPV is the least ‘unaccessed.’ The IPV may be used in a visual representation of the collection of objects, thereby permitting a user to readily identify and obtain those objects of greatest interest to the particular user.

摘要: A system, method, and program product that receives an email message at a first computer system, the received email message being subsequent to an original email message that was addressed to a group of email recipients, and the received email message is addressed to one of the email participants that include the email recipients and the original sender of the original email message. The system, method, and computer program product identifies whether a continuity of service was set for the original email message. If the continuity of service was set for the original email message and that the received email message is addressed to the original sender, then the received email message is forwarded to the other email recipients.
