The wobulator is disposed along an image projection path, and configured to selectively tilt so as to shift the projection path. The position detector is configured to sense a magnitude of tilting of the wobulator plate, and to produce a feedback signal useable to control tilting of the wobulator plate.

摘要: A method of vaporizing material at a uniform rate for forming a layer on a substrate includes feeding a column of vaporizable material from a temperature controlled region maintained below the vaporizable material's effective vaporization temperature to a source of vaporization energy, wherein the volume of the column can vary during vaporization; and providing a source of vaporization energy delivering a constant heat flux to the surface of the column so that a uniform volume per unit time of the vaporizable material is vaporized to form the layer on the substrate, irrespective of the feeding rate.

摘要: A thin film coating for a low allow steel or tool steel components in a fuel injector (14), such as a fuel injector needle valve (86) is disclosed. A thin film coating (96) consists of a metal carbon material layer less than 2.0 microns thick applied to a low alloy steel substrate (95) or tool steel substrate (95) used in fuel injector components, such as the fuel injector needle valve (86) or a portion thereof. Optionally, a thin bond layer (98) of chromium is deposited between the steel substrate (95) and the primary metal carbon material coating (96). The thin film coating (96) minimizes abrasive and adhesive wear associated with the needle valve (86) and cooperating nozzle surfaces (62,63) of the fuel injector (14).

摘要: A method for vaporizing particulate material and condensing it onto a surface to form a layer provides a quantity of first particulate material in a first container and a quantity of second particulate material in a second container spaced apart from the first container, the first and second containers respectively having first and second openings. The first particulate material is transferred through the first opening in the first container into a manifold and vaporized in the manifold. The second particulate material is transferred through the second opening in the second container into the manifold and vaporized in the manifold, whereby the first and second vaporized particulate materials are mixed. The mixed vaporized materials are delivered from the manifold to the surface to form the layer.

摘要: This system for generating message transformation and validation software uses interface definition documents as inputs. An interface definition consists of an internally consistent set of message definitions, data dictionary entries, transformation rules, and validation rules. A user-friendly graphical user interface provides the requirements engineer or other user with the ability to specify these documents. This graphical user interface is a structured table and rules editor that allows the requirements engineer to enter and validate interface definitions to ensure that the definitions meet certain predetermined requirements. The generation system takes the interface definition documents as input and generates various software artifacts to transform and validate messages. W3C XML schemas are generated from an interface definition for assistance with code development, for use as standards-compliant interface definition that can be reused and composed with other schemas, and for validating messages. Extensible Stylesheet Language Transform files are generated from an interface definition to transform and validate messages. These generated software artifacts for message transformation and validation may then be used to implement message-processing systems. One example where this software was deployed is a wireless or local number portability service bureau that permits portability requests to pass from one telecommunications entity to another. The graphical user interface also enables the user to compare interface definitions, generate schema artifacts, generate transformation and validation artifacts, generate test cases, generate message indices, and generate documentation for distribution and review (formats include Microsoft Word, rich-text format, and HTML). Preexisting requirements documents may be converted for use in the present system by parsing and translating the preexisting documents into the interface definition documents. After this conversion process, information that could not be parsed and translated is referred to the requirements engineer or other user, who reenters the information using the structured table and rules editor.
