    Abstract: A method, system, and device to obtain a basic subcarrier spacing, or a channel bandwidth, or a maximum transmission bandwidth, or a usable subcarrier spacing set via a predefined mapping rule is provided. In an embodiment, a method in a network component to determine a system numerology includes determining, by the network component, one or more subcarrier spacing options from a candidate subcarrier spacing set that is associated with a carrier frequency band. The method also includes transmitting, by the network component, a signal indicating to one or more UEs one or more subcarrier spacing options from the candidate subcarrier spacing set.

    Abstract: A signal scrambling method and apparatus, and a signal descrambling method and apparatus are disclosed. In the signal scrambling method, a communications apparatus scrambles a signal by using a scrambling sequence, and sends the scrambled signal. In the signal descrambling method, a communications apparatus receives a signal, and descrambles the signal by using a scrambling sequence. An initial value of the scrambling sequence is determined based on a time unit number corresponding to a frame structure parameter used for transmitting the signal, so that different scrambling sequences can be used to scramble signals that are transmitted by using different frame structure parameters. Therefore, interference randomization can be implemented for signal scrambling, and this can be applicable to various application scenarios in 5G NR to improve performance.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a method for processing information bits in a wireless communication network. A communication device receives a radio resource control (RRC) signaling, wherein the RRC signaling comprises time window information and time unit format information, wherein the time window information comprises a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) time sequence K1 set, wherein K1 is a time relationship between a time unit of a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) and a time unit of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), or wherein the K1 is a time relationship between a time unit of a (PDSCH) and a time unit of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH).     Abstract: Physical layer information reporting related to uplink physical layer information that is to be transmitted by a user equipment (UE) to a network device in a wireless communication network may involve communicating signaling between the UE and the network device. The signaling may be communicated by the UE transmitting the signaling to the network device and/or the network device receiving the signaling from the UE. The signaling is indicative of an amount of the uplink physical layer information that is to be transmitted. The physical layer information may include control information, data information, or both control information and data information in the physical layer. The amount may be reported explicitly, in a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) with or without an indication of information type for example, or implicitly based on a communication resource mapping for example.
