摘要: The invention relates to a cooling system with pulse-width triggering for the operating elements on the valves of the thermostat being subjected to closed-loop control in an adaptive manner. The aim is to reach the required temperature level in the coolant circuit as quickly as possible initially by predetermined and stored basic adaptation, taking into account the current ambient temperature. Depending on the load state and ambient conditions, three different temperature levels are provided as desired variables for setting the coolant temperature. Once the currently required coolant temperature is reached for the first time after starting, closed-loop control is changed over to fine adaptation. The coolant temperature which is currently to be set is kept as constant as possible by fine adaptation as a function of the desired temperature and the external temperature. If the desired temperature of the coolant, which temperature is to be achieved by closed-loop control, changes on account of a change in the load state of the engine, the newly required temperature level is set by fine adaptation. This has the advantage that, when the motor vehicle is started, the coolant temperature which is currently to be set can be achieved immediately by the basic adaptation settings.

摘要: For measuring the injection quantity (Vm) of injection systems (18), in particular in internal combustion engines, test fluid (22) is injected by the injection system (18) into a measurement chamber (12). To increase the precision and stability of the measurement, the volume of the measurement chamber (12) is kept constant during the injection. Moreover, a gas volume (Vg) is present in the measurement chamber (12). The injected volume (Vm) of test fluid (22) is ascertained from the pressure change (dP) in the measurement chamber (12) that occurs upon an injection of test fluid (22). The ascertainment of the injected volume (Vm) is done by means of the state equation for ideal gases.

摘要: The invention relates to a cooling system in which the fan output is determined by an output control from the characteristic curves of the fan motor, the operating parameters of the cooling system and the reference input variables predetermined in the form of temperature levels. Different characteristic curves for the activation of the fan motor are here assigned to the different set temperature levels. If the reference input variable for the control changes, this also results in a change of the characteristic curves for activation of the fan motor. In order to prevent the fan motor starting to howl, in the event of a change in the reference input variable for the fan control the operation of the fan motor is kept constant for an adjustable minimum waiting time. During this minimum waiting time, switching over of the cooling circuit may have caused the operating parameters of the cooling system to adjust to the new reference input variable to such a degree that howling of the fan motor is no longer of concern.

摘要: A method for determining the instantaneous fluid level of a tank includes the steps of: designating a beginning fluid-level of the tank as an input value during the starting of the engine; ascertaining a first fluid-level value from a fluid level measured by a fluid-level measuring device, and ascertaining a second fluid-level value and a window around the second fluid-level value from the consumption of the engine and from the input value; comparing the first fluid-level value to the window around the second fluid-level value; determining whether the first or the second fluid-level value should be a new input value; displaying the new input value as the fluid level; and terminating the method if the engine is switched off or repeating the method starting from the ascertaining step when the engine is running.

摘要: The level measuring device (12) has a measuring tube (14) that is disposed in the fuel tank (10) and is filled by a partial flow of the fuel delivered to the injection system (44) of the engine (46) of the motor vehicle by a delivery unit (40) disposed in the fuel tank (10). On its one measurement input (26), a differential pressure sensor (24) is acted on by the hydrostatic pressure at the bottom end (30) of the measuring tube (14) and on its other measurement input (28), the sensor is acted on by the hydrostatic pressure at the bottom (16) of the fuel tank (10). When the delivery unit (40) is operating, a fuel column of a known height (lo) is produced in the measuring tube (14), so that the current level (h(t)) of the fuel tank (10) can be determined in an evaluation device (32) based on the output signal (u) of the differential pressure sensor (24). Close to its bottom end (30), the measuring tube (14) has an opening (56), through which the measuring tube (14) can be emptied, when the delivery unit (40) is switched off, to the point that the same level is set in it as in the fuel tank (10) and the offset of the differential pressure sensor (24) can be determined.

摘要: A capacitive difference sensor includes two sensor electrodes, each of which lies opposite a transmitting electrode fed by an electrical AC voltage source. A circuit arrangment connected to the two sensor electrodes for signal recovery generates a differential signal which corresponds to the difference between the displacement currents induced in the two sensor electrodes. The circuit arrangement includes a series resonance circuit comprising a coil and a capacitor, the resonance frequency of the series resonance circuit corresponding to the frequency of the AC voltage source. The two sensor electrodes are coupled via a transformer in opposite senses to the series resonance circuit and the differential signal is tapped off at the tap of the series resistance circuit formed by the connecting point between the coil and the capacitor.

摘要: The arrangement for contactless measurement of the volume flow or mass flow of a moving medium comprises two transducers which furnish electrical signals into which inhomogeneities of the moving medium enter depending on their spatial position in accordance with different spatial weighting functions. The detecting regions of the two transducers are offset with respect to each other in the direction of movement of the medium but partially overlap in such a manner that the gradient of the spatial cross correlation function for the spatial displacement zero is different from the zero vector. A correlator forms the time cross correlation function of the two signals and an evaluation circuit derives the measured value for the volume flow or mass flow of the moving medium from the gradient of the time cross correlation function for the time displacement zero. Alternatively, the measured value may also be derived from the first moment of the cross power density spectrum of the two signals because said moment is mathematically equivalent to the gradient of the time cross correlation function of the two signals for the time displacement zero.
