    摘要: A vertical magnetic field type MRI apparatus is capable of high-speed-imaging a large cross section such as a whole human body while suppressing an increase in the number of channels and maintaining sensitivity to a deep portion of a subject to be high. A receiving coil is composed of a plurality of sub coils. A first sub coil (3-1) of the receiving coil is arranged in a first plane (1001) including an axis substantially parallel to the direction of a static magnetic field and forms a first current loop around the surface of the subject. A second sub coil (5-1) of the receiving coil is constituted by a pair of conductor loops (5-2, 5-3) that sandwich the subject in the vicinities of the surface of the subject and are arranged substantially symmetrically each other. The conductor loops have respective cross points (5-4, 5-5). The conductor loops are arranged with the first sub coil to ensure that the cross points are located in the first plane in which the current loop of the first sub coil is provided. An electromagnetic coupling between the first and second sub coils is not generated. The second sub coil exhibits a sensitivity distribution symmetrical to the direction of the static magnetic field. The first and second sub coils are arranged as a basic configuration and combined with each other to ensure that an electromagnetic coupling with another sub coil that exhibits a sensitivity distribution symmetrical to x and y directions is suppressed.

    摘要: There is provided an inspection apparatus using nuclear magnetic resonance which can execute multi-slice and multi-frame cardiac imaging of a heart without giving any load on a subject. An inspection apparatus using nuclear magnetic resonance has static magnetic field generation means generating a static magnetic field; magnetic field gradient generation means generating a magnetic field gradient in a first, a second and a third directions orthogonal to each other; radiofrequency magnetic field generation means generating a radiofrequency magnetic field; signal detection means detecting a nuclear magnetic resonance signal (echo) produced from a subject; arithmetic processing means performing arithmetic processing of the detected nuclear magnetic resonance signal; and control means controlling the magnetic field gradient generation means and the radiofrequency magnetic field generation means, wherein the control means executes a pulse sequence acquiring a projection to determine a similarity coefficient between the projection and a reference projection, thereby detecting respiratory motion of the subject.

    摘要: An RF coil apparatus suitable for a high magnetic field MRI apparatus includes a plurality of subcoils arranged substantially in a cylindrical form. Each subcoil includes a first conductor part and a second conductor part. The second conductor part is disposed on the inside of a cylinder, i.e., on the test subject side. This coil apparatus includes a conduction part for attaining conduction among the subcoils, and a conduction control part for controlling a conduction state between the first conductor part and the second conductor part, conducting connection to a transmission and reception part which conducts signal transmission and reception with a subcoil, and changing over electric capacitance of the subcoil according to whether to receive or transmit. Function changeover between the multi-channel mode and the one-channel mode is accomplished by conducting connection changeover and electric capacitance changeover.

The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a control unit that applies radiofrequency magnetic fields and magnetic field gradients to a subject lying down in a static magnetic field and that detects magnetic resonance signals generated from the subject, and an arithmetic unit that handles the signals. The arithmetic unit performs subject's body motion detection in an image space, uses an image, which is reconstructed using the low-frequency portion of the k-space data of the image, as criterial data, produces templates by moving the criterial data in advance by predetermined magnitudes of rotations and predetermined magnitudes of translations, and uses the produced templates to perform the body motion detection.

    摘要: Provided is a magnetic resonance imaging system capable of reducing degradation in a magnetic resonance spectrum derived from a change in a static magnetic field. A sequence controller performs non-water-suppressed spectrum measurement (pre-scan) cyclically during water-suppressed spectrum measurement (main scan) accompanied by repetitive measurement intended for averaging of signals, and cyclically detects a water resonant frequency (water-signal peak position) and a phase value at a water-signal peak from an obtained non-water-suppressed spectrum (the cyclic pre-scan makes it possible to sense a time-varying rate of static magnetic field strength (resonant frequency)). For the water-suppressed spectrum measurement (main scan) succeeding the pre-scan, a reception-initiating phase value that is used to detect a magnetic resonance signal is set to a value calculated using the phase value at the water-signal peak position detected during the pre-scan. For averaging of measured magnetic resonance signals, data items are shifted by the value calculated from the phase value at the water-signal peak position detected during the pre-scan. Thereafter, the averaging is carried out.

    摘要: An NMR system that enables multiplex resonance measurement includes a superconductivity reception coil, a transmission coil, and four electric current loops. The NMR system also includes an additional coil in which directions of currents that flow in an inner loop and an outer loop are opposite to each other. The additional coil and the transmission coil are arranged such that a direction of a high frequency magnetic field that is developed in the center of the additional coil when electricity is fed to the additional coil is substantially identical with a direction of a high frequency magnetic field that is developed in the center of the transmission coil when electricity is fed to the transmission coil. The electric current loop of the transmission coil is arranged substantially in the middle of the inner loop and the outer loop of the additional coil in which directions of electric currents that flow in the inner loop and the outer loop are opposite to each other.

    摘要: The present invention provides a vertical magnetic field MRI apparatus which is capable of speeding up imaging for taking an image of any cross section of a wide area such as a total body, while suppressing increase of the number of channels and maintaining high sensitivity in a deep portion of a subject. A receiver coil unit 500 incorporates a bed coil unit 600 whose longitudinal direction agrees with a body axis direction of the test object 103, and an upper coil unit 700 which is detachably mounted on the bed coil unit 600. The bed coil unit 600 is provided with a carrying surface 601 for placing the test object 103 thereon and multiple lower sub-coils arranged in a lower part of the carrying surface 601, and the upper coil unit 700 is provided with multiple upper sub-coils which are connected to the lower sub-coils. The upper sub-coils are separated into two parts; one arranged in a flexible inner support 20-1 covering the installation surface 601 and another arranged in a flexible outer support 20-2 covering the external side of the inner support 20-1. The upper sub-coils and the lower sub-coils are connected by mounting the upper coil unit 700 on the bed coil unit 600, thereby forming the multiple types of sub-coils.
