Abstract: Techniques for power saving by remote wireless mobile devices are provided, in particular by stations (STAs) during downlink (DL) multiple-user multiple-input and multiple-output (MU-MIMO) transmissions in an Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11ay network when reverse direction (RD) transmissions are either enabled and not enabled. Various embodiments enable each STA in a group of STAs to determine an order in which the STAs are requested to send a block acknowledgement (BACK) and which STAs will be granted an RD transmission. Further, a duration of each RD transmission is provided to each STA. Based on the provided information, each STA can determine times to enter a power saving mode. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Provided herein are apparatus and methods for coexistence between Wi-Fi communication and Bluetooth communication. An apparatus for a UE includes: a Wi-Fi module to perform Wi-Fi communication; a Bluetooth module to perform Bluetooth communication; and interface circuitry coupled with both of the Wi-Fi module and the Bluetooth module; wherein the Wi-Fi module is to: obtain event schedule information from the Bluetooth module via the interface circuitry, wherein the event schedule information is to indicate information about a schedule of the Bluetooth communication; and puncture, based on the event schedule information, a secondary channel for the Wi-Fi communication to reserve a sub-channel for the Bluetooth communication. Other embodiments may also be disclosed and claimed.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for coordinated transmission among virtual access points (VAPs). An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to determine to share a multi-station uplink (UL) and/or downlink (DL) transmission opportunity (TXOP) with two stations that are associated with two virtual access points (VAPs), where each of the two stations is associated with one of the two VAPs. The processing circuitry further configured to determine UL resource allocations for the two stations for a trigger frame based on information received from the two VAPs, and to encode the trigger frame for the multi-station UL TXOP, the trigger frame comprising a common VAP identification (ID) of the two VAPs, UL resource allocations for the two stations, and multi-basic service set (M-BSS) identifications (IDs) for each of the two stations.

Abstract: Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for uplink sounding in wireless networks are disclosed. An apparatus of a wireless device may include processing circuitry configured to: encode an uplink sounding trigger element (USTE) for one or more stations, the USTE comprising one or more uplink (UL) resource allocations for the one or more stations to transmit one or more uplink sounding referee elements (USREs) to the wireless device. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the USTE to the one or more stations, and decode the one or more USREs from the one or more station, wherein the one or more USREs are to be received by the wireless device in accordance with a corresponding resource allocation indicated in the USTE.
