摘要： The present invention relates to a processing solution supply cartridge which utilizes a single container for a single-part developer concentrate. The single container has at least two valves or necks and is adapted to be utilized on a existing processor or processing machine. The single developer container design of the present invention assures a complete emptying of the container by permitting the simultaneous replenishment of single-part developer through each of the valves into the processing machine. With the combination of the single developer container and the single-part developer the process of metering distinct developers through distinct containers is not required. By facilitating the complete emptying of the developer container, the likelihood of developer solution remaining in the container is minimized.

摘要： The present invention relates to a photographic processor which includes a circular processing drum and a metering blade assembly provided within the drum. The metering blade assembly is adapted to control or meter an amount of processing solution provided on film to be processed in the film path. The metering blade assembly is adjustable so as to accommodate 35 mm or APS film in the photographic processor. The metering blade assembly is also attached to a support assembly or member which further supports an agitating roller. With the arrangement of the present invention, it is possible to adjust the width of both the agitating roller and the metering blade in accordance with the type of film to be processed in the photographic processor.

摘要： A processing solution delivery system and method for a photographic processor includes a plurality of chambers that are adapted to hold a distinct processing solution therein. A manifold is fluidly connected to the chambers and includes an inclined solution passageway. The manifold provides a connection between the chambers and an associated processor. Provided in a spaced manner along the inclined solution passageway are manifold bores which introduce solution at different points along the inclined passageway. With the present invention, it is possible to introduce wash solution at the highest point of the inclined processing path at the end of a processing cycle so as to assure the removal of contaminants from previously supplied solutions. Further, it is possible to introduce a bleach or fixing solution at the lowermost point of the inclined path to effectively and uniformly quench a development reaction.

摘要： An apparatus and method for applying a solution having a predetermined viscosity to a photosensitive material, such as a photographic print, involves the conveyance of the photosensitive material through a tank. A guide member mounted in the tank is effective to guide viscous solution to an area in the vicinity of a nip portion between first and second rollers. This arrangement creates at least one bead in a vicinity of the nip portion between the rollers so as to promote an even and consistent application of solution to the photosensitive material, and at the same time, permits an upper roller of the drive rollers to stay evenly wet.

摘要： An apparatus and method for applying at least one coating solution of a predetermined viscosity to a photosensitive material. The apparatus includes at least an application roller which is adapted to apply the coating solution onto the photosensitive material. A solution supply guide is positioned relative to the application roller to supply coating solution onto the application roller. The apparatus and method further includes a washing arrangement for washing the coating apparatus in an efficient manner. The washing arrangement includes a movable scrubber bar arrangement which retracts away from the application roller when the coating apparatus is in a coating mode of operation, and is movable to contact the application roller by way of brushes in a cleaning mode of operation. The apparatus and method further includes a recirculation system which alternatively supplies coating solution to the supply guide and cleaning solution to at least the washing arrangement.

摘要： The present invention provides for a processor or processing arrangement which includes a replenishment system that meters or dispenses an amount of replenishment solution in direct relation to an amount of photosensitive media that passes through the processor or processing arrangement. The replenishment system includes a dispensing chamber and a cam roller that is operationally associated with a conveying roller. The cam roller engages a valve on the dispensing chamber. When the valve is moved to an open position in relation to a rotation of the cam roller, an amount of processing solution is metered out of the chamber in an amount related to the amount of rotation of the conveying roller.

摘要： A photographic processing method and apparatus. The apparatus includes a processor for developing an exposed photographic paper, a first entry point into the processor for transferring of the exposed photographic paper to the main processing path of the processor, and a second entry point into the processor to receive a photosensitive material of a second format different from the first format and leading the photosensitive material to the main processing path. An adapter is provided having a first end which is arranged to mate with a cassette in a light-tight manner having a second end which is connectable in a light-tight manner with the second entry point on the processor. The cassette contains a photosensitive material of a second format and the cassette may be fed directly into the processor via the adapter and the second entry point of the processor. A sensor is provided for monitoring the amount of photosensitive material passing through the second entry point and for controlling the amount of replenishment of processing chemicals to the processor in response to the amount of photosensitive material monitored.

摘要： A valve assemblage for controlling flow of fluid between a first fluid system and a second fluid system. The first fluid system includes a first valve assembly adapted to mate and engage a second valve assembly on the second fluid system.
