Abstract:
In a method for fabricating an organic electroluminescent display, a first electrode layer is formed on a transparent substrate, and a hole transport layer is formed on the first electrode layer. After an organic luminescent layer is formed on the hole transport layer by scanning a donor film disposed on the substrate using a laser beam, the donor film is removed and then a second electrode is formed on the organic luminescent layer. The laser beam dithers while performing the scanning operation to make the energy distribution uniform.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a linear compressor with an external vibration-absorbing structure. The linear compressor comprises a base plate and a hermetically sealed container disposed at the upper surface of the base plate. The hermetically sealed container has an inlet port and an outlet port formed at both ends thereof, respectively. The hermetically sealed container is constructed such that a piston is linearly reciprocated in a cylinder by means of a linear motor to compress and discharge a fluid. A discharging unit assembly is disposed in front of the outlet port at the outside of the hermetically sealed container such that a fluid compressed in the cylinder is discharged through the discharging unit assembly. A vibration-absorbing unit is connected to the outside of the hermetically sealed container in the moving direction of the linear motor for absorbing vibrations generated from the compressor. According to the present invention, the number of the components disposed in the hermetically sealed container is reduced. Consequently, the linear compressor is miniaturized, and vibration-absorbing efficiency is improved while the vibration-absorbing unit is designed without limits.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a linear compressor. The linear compressor comprises a hermetically sealed container having an inlet port and an outlet port formed at both ends thereof. In the hermetically sealed container is mounted a compression unit to compress and discharge a fluid. The compression unit comprises a linear motor, a cylinder, and a piston disposed in the cylinder such that the piston is linearly reciprocated in the cylinder by means of the linear motor. The linear compressor further comprises a discharging unit assembly disposed in front of the outlet port at the outside of the hermetically sealed container such that a fluid compressed in the cylinder is discharged through the discharging unit assembly, a container-supporting stand to support the hermetically sealed container at the outside of the hermetically sealed container, and shock-absorbing springs disposed between the container-supporting stand and the hermetically sealed container for performing shock-absorbing operations. According to the present invention, the size of the hermetically sealed container is reduced, whereby the linear compressor is miniaturized, and thus the linear compressor is designed without limits.
Abstract:
A method for controlling operation of a refrigerator having two evaporators is provided which allows food to be effectively stored in refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator. A Refrigerating-Freezing (RF) cycle and/or a Freezing (F) cycle of the refrigerator and compressor operation are controlled based on temperatures of various chambers within the refrigerator. This may be further enhanced by also controlling operation of the evaporators and their respective evaporator fans to further optimize cooling output and efficiency. In this manner, the various refrigerating and freezing chambers of the refrigerator can be maintained at an appropriate temperature, power consumption is minimized, and load on the compressor can be adequately managed so as to provide for effective food storage.
Abstract:
A method of planarizing an interlayer dielectric layer formed over a one cylinder storage (OCS) capacitor including applying two or three interlayer dielectric layers over the capacitor and planarizing the interlayer dielectric layers using CMP having a different etching selectivity according to the layers.
Abstract:
The self-locking quick disengagement nut has a bore therethrough which clears the threads of a thrust screw. On another axis, intersecting the clearance axis, a threaded bore has thrust screw-engaging threads. The nut is formed of two parts, lying substantially in opposite sides of the plane through the axes. The pivot pin lies closer to the threaded shaft axis than the major diameter of the threaded shaft so that the thrust screw urges the nut toward thread engagement without applying excessive bending to the thrust screw.
Abstract:
Fluxing station (34) has a flux dispenser (52) where liquid flux cascades down steps (88, 90). Circulating pump (46) draws liquid flux from a reservoir (54) below the steps and recirculates it to cascade down the steps. There is provision to add makeup flux from reservoir (38) or supply a cleaning liquid such as alcohol from reservoir (37) to clean the circulating system. A drain (62) is provided. Electrical components can be positioned with their leads on the steps so that liquid flux cascades thereover for accurately fluxing only the ends of the leads. Two or more pairs of steps, with different spacing, may be provided to accommodate components of different lengths.
