摘要: In a communication system based on OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) Reference Model, a pattern body generation circuit of a transmitting device generates and outputs a jitter test pattern body for jitter test. A selector selects an output (frame data) of a transmitting-end upper circuit during normal communication and selects an output (pattern body) of the pattern body generation circuit during jitter test. A transmitting-end MAC circuit performs transmitting-end processing of a MAC layer on the data selected by the selector to thereby obtain a MAC frame. A receiving-end MAC circuit performs receiving-end processing of a MAC layer on a received frame in MAC frame format to thereby obtain a payload. A pattern body verification circuit verifies a pattern body that is a payload obtained by the receiving-end MAC circuit during jitter test against a corresponding pattern body before transmission.

摘要: A liquid-crystal display that can inhibit the coloring of an image when a liquid-crystal panel is viewed from an oblique direction is provided. An optical filter is disposed at the forward end of a liquid-crystal panel and has different transmittances between a light component that travels in an oblique direction and a light component that travels in a direction normal to the multilayer, where both of the light components have a predetermined wavelength range. In the case where a wide-color-gamut light source, such as LEDs, is used as a light sources of a backlight unit, when the liquid-crystal panel is viewed from an oblique direction, the entire image area tends to be reddish, and the color temperature tends to decrease. In this case, the optical filter is configured such that the intensity of a visible red light component is selectively reduced such that the intensity of a visible blue light component is increased, thereby inhibiting the reddening of an image area when viewed from an oblique direction.

摘要: A discharge lamp includes a luminous bulb in which a luminous material is enclosed and a pair of electrodes are opposed to each other in the luminous bulb; and a pair of sealing portions for sealing a pair of metal foils electrically connected to the pair of electrodes, respectively. Each of the pair of metal foils has an external lead on a side opposite to a side electrically connected to a corresponding electrode of the pair of electrodes. At least one of the pair of sealing portions is provided with a reflective film on a surface of the sealing portion in a portion where a connection portion of the external lead and the metal foil is sealed. The reflective film contains a material having a reflectance larger than that of a material constituting the sealing portion.

摘要: A data file recording medium stores data files which are an object of transmission and reception. A data file includes data, information as to data volume of the data, and a program having a data volume comparison processing and a data integration processing. The program may include additionally a data expanding processing, in the event that the data is a compression format of data. Such a data file is transferred between a data transmission apparatus and a data receiving apparatus. At the receiving end, a data volume comparison processing is effected to compare data volume as to received data of the data to be transmitted with data volume represented by the data volume information. If the data is in short supply, an amount of missing data is informed to the data transmission apparatus. The data transmission apparatus transmits a data file including data involved in only the missed out portion. At the receiving end, the received data of a plurality of data files are integrated through a data integration processing.
