摘要： An image forming apparatus is disclosed which is capable of forming additionally on a copying paper data of date other than image information recorded on a given document. This apparatus incorporates therein a calendar for memorizing the current date and allows the memorized date to be stored in a memory. The data stored in the memory is advanced or set back by the unit of one day. The date changed from the real date is formed on the copying paper in addition to the image informataion recorded on the document. Owing to this function of the apparatus, the data of future or past can be formed additionally on the copying paper. The operation for the change of date is executed by the input through a console.

摘要： A copying machine includes first and second developing units, each of which contains different color developer. The copy machine is capable of developing an electrostatic latent image on the surface of a photoconductor through individual or successive operation of the first and second developing units. An arrangement is provided for counting the number of copying operations that each developing unit is subjected to during a single scan of the scanning device. The arrangement increases the count values associated with the first developer unit when the first developer unit is operated individually, and increases the count value associated with the second developer unit when the second developer unit is operated individually. Further, the arrangement increases the count value associated with the first and second developer units when both developer units are operated together.

摘要： The present invention is directed towards an improvement in a copying apparatus capable of executing a plurality of copy modes including an ordinary copy mode and one or more special purpose copy modes. A mode key switch is provided for setting the copy mode to the ordinary copy mode or to the special purpose copy mode. The mode key switch is biased to normally select the ordinary copy mode. Input keys are provided for inputting values for the special purpose copy mode, and a visual display may be provided for displaying the values set with the input keys. The values of the special purpose copy mode may be changed by operating the input keys while continually depressing the mode key switch. The photocopier is inhibited from making any changes in copying mode while the operator is setting the desired values.
