    摘要: The present invention is directed to achievement of a data transmission control to cause base stations to cooperate with one another, taking into account efficient use of radio resources. A wireless communication system, which is an aspect of the present invention, includes: a first base station; a second base station connected via a wired network; and a wireless communication terminal that conducts at least one of single data transmission in which a single base station transmits data and cooperative data transmission in which a plurality of base stations cooperate to transmit data. The base stations notify the wireless communication terminal of a condition indicating a case where the cooperative data transmission can be performed. If the communication quality of the propagation path meets the condition, the wireless communication terminal transmits, to the base stations, information that is required for the cooperative data transmission.

    摘要: In a wireless communication system, when data communication is performed between a relay device and a terminal (in a second path), the same amount of data is required to be transferred between a base station and the relay device (in a third path). An amount of wireless communication resources required is obtained by adding an amount inversely proportional to a capacity of each of the second and third wireless transmission-paths. Therefore, the amount inversely proportional to the capacity of the third path is consumed in excess. Based on a channel quality of a first wireless channel between the base station and the terminal, a channel quality of a second wireless channel between the terminal and the relay station, and a channel quality of a third wireless channel between the base station and the relay station, it is determined whether data communication between the base station and the terminal is relayed.

    摘要: A base station performs an association between frequency range and combinations of a plurality of base stations including an local base station to notify a terminal of the association. According to the notified association, the terminal, for each frequency, calculates quality of communication with one base station or quality of communication with the combination of the plurality of base stations. The base station and the control station determine the base station/the plurality of base stations that communicate with the terminal, the wireless resource and the transmission scheme, based on the result. Further, the base station selects whether to notify an entirety of or a part of the association to the terminal using positional information of the terminal. Since the association information that is unnecessary for the terminal is not communicated, it is possible to further lighten the load of control.

The estimation pilot is transmitted at the same time and frequency established among the radio base station apparatuses by use of the same directivity beam as used for transmitting the data after the unified time.

    摘要: A terminal 211 measures pilot signals transmitted in directional (beam) patterns from an adjacent cell and an own cell, and estimates reception qualities with the presence (high)/absence (low) of the interference from the adjacent cell. The terminal 211 requests data rate request values (DRC1, DRC2) corresponding to the reception qualities with the presence/absence of the interference to the base station 201. The base station 201 shares beam direction schedule with an adjacent cell base station, and confirms the presence/absence of interference to the terminal 211 for each slot. In accordance with the presence/absence of the interference, the base station 201 selects a suitable one of the two values of the data rates requested from the terminal 211, and modulates the data and transmits it.

    摘要: A base station apparatus is provided for adaptively controlling a maximal accommodation channel number per unit area (for example, the coverage area of a cell or sector) in accordance with a traffic quantity without relying upon detachment of a mobile base station and installation of a repeater. Upon inputting of a plurality of baseband signals of a user channel-multiplexed channel group, linear coupling is performed by a weight which is different per area that outputs it, thereby enabling control of the channel density. Additionally, a per-group available channel number is constantly monitored to control the weight while using threshold judgment for the available channel number as a trigger, thus achieving situation-sensitive prompt handleability.
