    摘要: An intermediate portion of an insulating sheath of a coaxial cable is removed, and a first insulating sheath portion is drawn toward a second insulating sheath portion, so that a braid is projected into an annular shape outwardly from an interval between opposed ends of the first and second insulating sheath portions to form an annular projecting braid portion, and this annular projecting braid portion is fixed so as to be connected to a portion (that is, a braid fixing portion) of a coaxial cable shielding terminal for connection to an end portion of the coaxial cable. This connecting and fixing operation is effected by press-contacting or press-clamping.

    摘要: In a method of grounding a shielded wire and a structure of grounding a shielded wire, a ring portion is formed in a ring shape by leading a braided wire to or to an opposite side of an insulating outer sheath so as to be separated in an outer circumferential direction of the insulating outer sheath. With respect to an outer circumference of the insulating outer sheath, an inner circumferential cylinder is disposed at an inner circumference side of the ring portion and an outer circumferential cylinder is disposed at an outer circumference side thereof. Further, the outer circumferential cylinder and the inner circumferential cylinder are connected each other to form a sleeve fitting. With the sleeve fitting, an attached wire is connected to the ring portion, such that grounding is performed.

This structure is formed by placing the portion of the lead wire of the shield terminal on the insulating outer cover of the shielded wire, placing a resin chip on the portion of the lead wire of the shield terminal, and applying an ultrasonic vibration so as to melt and disperse the insulating outer covers of the shielded wire and the lead wire, thereby forming a shielded conductive portion in which the shield terminal and braid are conductively in contact with each other.

    摘要: In the covered-wire connection method and structure in which at least one of members to be conductively connected to each other is a covered wire comprising a conductive wire portion and a cover portion of resin which is coated around the outer periphery of the conductive wire portion, both of the members are overlapped with each other at connection portions thereof, the overlapped connection portions are pinched between a pair of resin chips, and then the cover portion are melted and dispersed by ultrasonic vibration while pressing the connection portions of the members from the outside of the resin chips to conductively connect both of the members to each other at the connection portions thereof. Thereafter, the pair of the resin chips are melted to be fixed to each other, so that the connection portions are sealed with the melted resin chips.

The crimp terminal has a crimping piece which is press-deformed to embrace the conductor. The coating agent is coated to a first part of the crimp terminal. A recess is formed at a non-coating part of the crimp terminal where the coating agent is not coated. The coating agent is cured by irradiating light or an electron beam to the first part in a state where a part of the coating agent flowing out from the first part is received in the recess.
