摘要： An image displaying apparatus for displaying images and additional information is provided. The image displaying apparatus includes a display unit; an image data obtaining unit for obtaining image data of an image from a storage; an additional information obtaining unit for obtaining additional information; a display controller for displaying the image and additional information on the display unit in two display modes. In a first display mode, the additional information is semi-transparent or outlined as it overlaps the image, and in a second display mode, the additional information is highlighted and overlaps the image. The image displaying apparatus further includes a mode switching unit for signaling the display controller to switch between the first display mode and the second display mode. A related method is also provided.

摘要： A robot and its component control module are disclosed. The robot includes a CPU and at least two component modules. Each component control module includes at least one actuator, at least one sensor, and a controller. The sensor is used for detecting outside information and correspondingly generating a sensing signal. The controller receives the sensing signal, controls the actuator to perform an action according to the sensing signal and sends the sensing signal to the CPU. The CPU receives the sensing signal, gets the outside information associated with the sensing signal, generates action instruction according to the outside information, and sends out the action instruction to the corresponding component control module. The controller of the corresponding component control module controls the actuator of the component control module to perform an action according to the action instruction. The robot responds quickly to outside information.

摘要： An indicating apparatus transmits beams from an indicating lamp and includes a panel. The panel has an open area defined thereon. The open area includes a C-shaped slot and an upright slot. The C-shaped slot generally surrounds an opaque area, and the upright slot is defined in the opaque area. A center of the opaque area is generally aligned with the indicating lamp, and the opaque area has a protrusion pointing toward the indicating lamp. The preferred shape of the protrusion is either a conical or pyramidal, and reflects the beams from the indicating lamp to the open area. One exemplary application of the indicating apparatus is to indicate a “power on” status of an electronic device.

摘要： A touch sensing apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes: a flip-flop, a sensor, an AC signal and a detector. The AC signal supplies AC signals to the flip-flop. The flip-flop outputs a first type output signal at the output thereof when the sensor is not touched. The sensor receives electricity signals from an object, and causes a delay of the AC signal to be inputted to the first input of the flip-flop, the delay of the AC signal to be inputted to the first input of the flip-flop further causes the flip-flop to output a second type output signal at the output thereof. The detector detects a change from the first type output signal to the second type output signal at the output of the flip-flop and accordingly identifies a touch on the sensor.
