The image sensor includes a semiconductor substrate; a photoelectric converter comprising a bias unit, which comprises a first electrode and a second electrode, and an organic photoelectric conversion layer, which selectively absorbs light and converts the light into electrons; a via contacting the second electrode to connect the photoelectric converter with the semiconductor substrate; a storage node configured to store electrons; a read-out unit to converts charge transferred from the storage node into an image signal; a pixel array comprising a plurality of pixels, each of which comprises an intermediate insulating layer; and an output circuit configured to read out the image signal from the pixel array. The quantity of light received by the organic photoelectric conversion layer is adjusted by a bias change of the bias unit.

    摘要: The image sensor and an image sensing system including the same are provided. The image sensor includes a semiconductor substrate, a pixel array formed at a pixel area located in the semiconductor substrate and comprising a plurality of photoelectric converts, a plurality of driver circuits formed at a circuit area defined in the semiconductor substrate. The image sensor includes at least one heat blocker or heat shield. The at least one heat blocker may be formed between the pixel area and the circuit area in the semiconductor substrate. The heat blocker or heat shield may block or dissipate heat generated at the circuit area from being transferred to the pixel area through the semiconductor substrate. The heat blocker or heat shield may be used in image sensors using a back-side illumination sensor (BIS) structure or image sensors using a silicon on insulator (SOI) semiconductor substrate.

    摘要: The present invention provides a horizontal linear vibrator which can reduce the thickness but increase the strength of vibrations while at the same time guaranteeing a sufficiently long lifetime and satisfactory responsivity. The horizontal linear vibrator includes a casing, a bracket, a vibration unit, a cylindrical coil and springs. The bracket is coupled to the casing to form an internal space. The vibration unit includes a weight, a pair of yokes and magnets. The weight has an opening therein. The yokes are disposed on the inner surfaces of the weight. The magnets are provided in the yokes such that different poles of the magnets face each other. The cylindrical coil is perpendicularly mounted to the bracket and disposed in space between the pair of yoke. The springs are coupled to both ends of the casing or the bracket. The springs elastically support the vibration unit to allow the vibration unit to vibrate in the horizontal direction.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and a method for driving an e-paper panel. The e-paper panel driving apparatus includes a DC/DC converter that converts and outputs DC voltage to be input into a preset voltage and supplies the output voltage as a driving voltage of an e-paper panel; a sensing module that senses load conditions of the e-paper panel; and a control module that varies the driving frequency of the DC/DC converter according to the load conditions of the e-paper panel sensed by the sensing module. According to the present invention, the driving clock of the DC/DC converter that supplies the driving voltage to the e-paper panel is varied in consideration of the load conditions of the e-paper panel, thereby making it possible to prevent an image quality of the e-paper panel from being degraded due to unstable power supply, while simultaneously minimizing unnecessary power consumption of the e-paper panel driving apparatus.
