Abstract:
A method and apparatus for controlling uplink transmissions on Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation are provided. A wireless device chooses that a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI)/Precoding Matrix Index (PMI)/Rank Indicator (RI)/Precoding Type Indicator (PTI) on a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) are not reported at a subframe n if an onDurationTimer is determined to be not active at the sub-frame n. An uncertainty about the uplink control information during the On Duration occurred by previous DRX operation can be resolved.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting, to a second UE, a first MAC PDU (Medium Access Control Protocol Data Unit) including a first Identity (ID) of the first UE; receiving, from the second UE, a second MAC PDU including a second ID; checking whether the second ID is same as the first ID or not; generating a third ID of the first UE if the second ID is same as the first ID and transmitting, to the second UE, a third MAC PDU including the third ID of the first UE.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to MAC layer communication for parallel random access procedures of dual connectivity. In this scheme, a first MAC entity of a user equipment informs the initiation of the first random access procedure to a second MAC entity of the UE; and informs the completion of the first random access procedure to the second MAC entity, when the first random access procedure is finished
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of receiving information at a user equipment configured with a serving cell in a mobile communication system, and the method comprises activating the serving cell; receiving a first signal from a base station, the first signal including timing advance group assignment information for the serving cell; and deactivating the serving cell if the timing advance group assignment information indicates a second timing advance group different from a first timing advance group assigned to the serving cell.
Abstract:
Operation of a user equipment (UE) with various timers is discussed. According to this scheme, when the UE receives values for each of timers related with a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation from a network, the UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from subframe n+1 to subframe n+X based on a first timer among the above mentioned timers when a first event for starting the first timer occurs at the subframe n, and monitors the PDCCH from subframe n to subframe n+X−1 based on a second timer among said timers, when a second event for starting the second timer occurs at the subframe n.
Abstract:
A method for and apparatus for configuring a DRX (Discontinuous Reception) operation in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device starts an onDuration timer according to a first DRX configuration and stops the onDuration timer which is running according to the first DRX configuration if a second DRX configuration is received. So that the UE can move out of the OnDuration before the expiry of the running OnDurationTimer by stopping the running onDurationTimer and apply a newly received DRX configuration.
Abstract:
Operation of a user equipment (UE) with various timers is disclosed. According to this scheme, when the UE receives values for each of timers related with a discontinuous reception (DRX) operation from a network, the UE monitors a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from subframe n+1 to subframe n+X based on a first timer among the above mentioned timers, when a first event for starting the first timer occurs at the subframe n, and monitors the PDCCH from subframe n to subframe n+X−1 based on a second timer among said timers, when a second event for starting the second timer occurs at the subframe n.
Abstract:
Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation in a wireless communication system is disclosed. According to this, when the UE received configuration information for a long discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a short DRX cycle from a network, and receive a data unit comprising at least one DRX command Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) from the network, the UE starts using the long DRX cycle, if the data unit comprises two or more DRX command MAC CEs.
Abstract:
A method for processing a signal at a user equipment in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes steps of receiving information on at least one PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel) monitoring opportunity from a network; performing an uplink transmission to the network; receiving a response corresponding to the uplink transmission from the network; and monitoring a PDCCH including information for retransmission of the uplink transmission, in one or more PDCCH monitoring opportunities except for the at least one PDCCH monitoring opportunity.
Abstract:
There is provided a monitoring method according to a discontinuous reception (DRX), the method comprising: determining whether an uplink data to be retransmitted is related to a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS); and monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to receive an uplink grant for the retransmission if the uplink data to be retransmitted is not related to the SPS, or not monitoring the PDDCH, if the uplink data to be retransmitted is related to the SPS.
