摘要: An eyewear display including a plurality of pods. Each pod includes a pair of opposing sidewalls, a back wall, and a front wall to form a proximal opening. The front wall defines a plurality of apertures for receiving eyewear support fixtures. A base wall encloses a distal end of the pod to form a storage space for holding eyewear stock accessible by the proximal opening. A mounting mechanism attaches to the back wall by a hinge and has at least one mounting clip for coupling the pod to the display mounting fixture. Each pod is selectively pivotable away from the display mounting fixture to provide access to the storage space for restocking the eyewear display. Preferably, in a display position, the plurality of pods are arranged so that at least one of the proximal openings is at least partially blocked by an adjacent.

摘要: Dispersion may be managed in an optical network by allowing accumulation of dispersion to at least ten thousand ps/nm, and several tens of thousands of ps/nm in some embodiments. The accumulated dispersion may be returned to zero or near zero at a receiver and/or at one or more branch paths coupled to the transmission path.

摘要: A multi-line chalk reel is disclosed that may be comprised of three or more line reels disposed in a polar arrangement of parallel but distinct rotation axes that has a single method for engaging and disengaging a single drive arrangement to any one spool. This arrangement provides a variety of advantages, including a package solution of useful dimensions and a low part count to minimize parts in assembly. The single drive arrangement reduces cost, and provides for convenient access to individual spools.

摘要: A multithreaded processor device is disclosed and includes a plurality of execution units to execute a plurality of program threads and includes a global low power detection circuit. The global low power detection circuit includes an input that is responsive to each of the plurality of program threads. The input indicates an execution activity level for each of the plurality of program threads. The global low power detection circuit further comprises logic to evaluate the activity level of each of the plurality of program threads. The logic provides a power level signal. Additionally, the global low power detection circuit includes an output that is responsive to the power level signal. The output is coupled to one or more global resources within the multithreaded processor and the output selectively controls an amount of power provided to the one or more global resources.

摘要: An instruction memory unit comprises a first memory structure operable to store program instructions, and a second memory structure operable to store program instructions fetched from the first memory structure, and to issue stored program instructions for execution. The second memory structure is operable to identify a repeated issuance of a forward program redirect construct, and issue a next program instruction already stored in the second memory structure if a resolution of the forward branching instruction is identical to a last resolution of the same. The second memory structure is further operable to issue a backward program redirect construct, determine whether a target instruction is stored in the second memory structure, issue the target instruction if the target instruction is stored in the second memory structure, and fetch the target instruction from the first memory structure if the target instruction is not stored in the second memory structure.

摘要: Techniques for processing transmissions in a communications (e.g., CDMA) system. A method and system for issuing and executing mixed architecture instructions in a multiple-issue digital signal processor receives in a mixed instruction listing a plurality of digital signal processor instructions. The plurality of digital signal processor instructions includes a plurality of parallel executable instructions (e.g., VLIW instructions or instruction packets) mixed among a plurality of series executable instructions (e.g., superscalar instructions). The series executable instructions are associated by various instruction dependencies. The method and system further identify in the mixed instruction listing the plurality of parallel executable instructions. Once identified, the parallel executable instructions are first executed in parallel irrespective of any such instruction's relative order in the mixed instruction listing. Then, the series executable instructions are executed serially according to said various instruction dependencies.

摘要: Water treatment method involves contacting water containing a dissolved contaminant or unwanted reducible species or a recoverable species and metal porphyrin as a reductive catalyst in the presence of an electron donor in a reactor under conditions to reduce the reducible species. The reduction of the contaminant or unwanted or recoverable species can be catalyzed by light or electrical activation of the metal porphyrin.
